  1. It’s bleak times when your options off the bench to get something from a game is Moi or Long
  2. Probably shifting out all the players that do not have a relegation clause in there contracts, if you rate Hoedt/Gabbi/Cedric/ Austin or not they are good enough to play at this level, if we pick up a few injuries or suspensions these players as back up are more than adequate, I get they need to reduce the wage bill, balance the books etc etc but we are still in the mix for the drop, if we do not have the players to play at this level we will go down. Ings has been injured a few times already, Long is useless, Obafemi looks like a younger version of Long (for now) Gallagher is forever injured and we have not seen a thing of Barnes so far, if we sell Austin and do not replace this window, we will be lucky to avoid the drop
  3. I live at the most northern part of Guernsey and I heard them going back out again this morning, those waters are notoriously rough, no way has anyone survived being in the water that long imo, the tides are so strong out there I will be surprised if they even find the plane, it is such a sad situation
  4. Celebrating the fact they won’t be taking 50% pay cuts next season
  5. Just back from the game, really poor start we looked all over the place, you could see from the start Lemina was up for it and looked class all day. Not sure if it was picked up on TV but Boufal was trying to wrestle the ball off JWP for the free kick, he then turned round to the away fans and shushed us, Lemina went over had a word and Boufal instantly apologised. JWP has to get a special mention for today he worked his bloody socks off
  6. It hasn’t to be tough convincing anyone to come here in this situation,we are asking players that are currently playing CL football to join us with the prospect of Championship football in 6-7 months, the club will insist on a relagation clause in any contract as well so who wants to commit to 4 years on 70k a week with a real possibility of that becoming £35k in the summer
  7. I thought by MP putting Obafemi was a sign to the board that we need strikers and that all we have is a 17yo to play up front, the fact that MP is trying to bring in a player he knows says to me he is not happy with what he has and wants a target man to play that lone role. I might be wrong in my assumptions but it does look like that to me
  8. Is Les Reed upping the offer at £1 a time, how long do these talks take? I am pretty sure if we were flogging a player Les & co could wrap that up in no time
  9. Austin is hardly speedy gonzales either
  10. Fact of the matter is he isn't getting the boot,I would rather see him be given the funds to bring in the players he wants to play in the style he wants, granted he hasn't had a great start but he has inherited a talented bunch of individuals that do not seem to be able to play together.maybe if he brings in players that will fit his way of playing that have a understanding of him as a manager then maybe we would see better results? Tadic/Boufal/Redmond have been awful this season and we can all agree with that, they were also pretty poor last season under Puel so maybe the problem lies with the players just as much as the manager,if you are playing one up top you need service from the wingers and the midfield we do not offer any of the strikers any of that with the players we have. This is why it might be time to sack off the "black box" and let the manager pick the players to improve us rather than Les Reeds magic stat box.
  11. Club are clearly keeping the money for wages for when we are in the championship, they will no doubt wheel out uncle Les and he will say no big names are leaving,we can afford to keep them and we will look to bounce back straight away........cue mass exodus in June
  12. Tadic/Boufal are ******* awful,they need replacing ASAP

    Not Too Late?

Manager is not getting sacked as the delusional board genuinely believe VVD is the root of all our problems, they can't see that poor recruitment and cashing in constantly has caught up with them, this is not all MP's fault, if anything I feel for him a bit, this all started when Poch left and we flogged everything that had value,we replaced well enough but then sold all that off as well, only to be left with this squad for Puel and MP,too many business decisions and not enough football decisions have got us to this point.
