  1. The whole spine of the team at the very least Gk, CB,CM & S.
  2. Depresses me to think we're likely going to see even more of the terrible rothwell over the run in and play offs.
  3. My point was if both leeds & Ipswich drops points the corpse revives ( both need to get 2 wins from 3 don't they) in the unlikely scenario of us winning 3?
  4. Well it would put coming ahead of Leeds back in our hands. Ipswich's margin for error has just increased, they can afford to lose 1.
  5. Waiting for a Middlesborough win over Leeds to bring the corpse back to life fora day.
  6. That would have been the perfect point to counteract it by bringing on our dm. Instead the usual wait for them to score as normal.
  7. horrible for Armstrong, going to miss out on the euros too.
  8. Assume it's likely to do with Mccarthy's contract stipulations . Lumley is a cheap and cheerful reserve.
  9. I expected Downes not to play. Hopefully it is just precautionary with Tuesday(today's result dependent) being where biggest need for him lies. Like others the refusal to start Charles, despite him deputising ably midweek, is very odd. Hope the midfield doesn't end up being unbalanced and cost us the game.
  10. We can get Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
  11. Is it really a good sign? Surely it's the sort of role you'd ideally want to have some stability in and not have someone who on the big team's shortlist's immediately.
  12. I'm sure he seriously happy that the club idiotically rushed to extend his contract.
  13. Disgusting move. As always the big clubs will cry 'too much football' and then turn round and expand their champions league games.
  14. It's funny I was thinking about Macca over the weekend and how he was a good shot stopper at his peak. I was wondering if because of that he had declined faster with age than keepers who are great organisers/positional/physically. Hope it was more of a confidence / injury thing and we see a revival over the run in. (Nice that he got a confidence building clean sheet to start) If so he'd be an upgrade over the poor shot stopper bazanu even if he's less assured with ball at his feet.
