  1. I'm sure he will come good. Probably not easy being away from wife and kids unsure whether to move them all back up there, stay down here or whatever. Been a great servant to this club and I hope it all works out for him.
  2. It took Boufal a long time to adjust to the nature of the English game. I recall a French media interview with him where spoke about the lack of protection afforded by English referees to attacking players. He's the type of player to make things happen, works on the edges and has needed to up his street smarts in the English game. He has shown that this season, but unfortunately the clown has given him insufficient opportunities playing with the right players to exploit his talents. Boufal is by far our most naturally gifted footballer. No doubt. We should be playing to his strengths and then see the impact he has. On the rare occasions he is named in the starting line up knowing there'll be a player who just potentially could change a game has been a rare positive on the dross we've had to endure. Redmond, isn't anywhere near Boufal in my opinion. He's too busy shafting Emma Milton (who is stunning BTW) and being all gangsta to actually want to succeed as a footballer at this club. He's desperate to get out and its reflected in his performances.
  3. This is a myth. The only thing inconsistent about Boufal is his selection in the first 11. He makes things happen. We should try playing him every game, strange concept I know.

  5. Ive been very supportive of the manager and felt he needs time. But my patience and support is severely tested with this sort of thing... (source: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/15911210.Saints_need_West_Brom_win/)..... Pellegrino tried to shake things up against Brighton with a double change at half time and unusually played two strikers, but it didn’t quite work. “Some time to put more offensive people doesn’t mean you will dominate or play better,” he reflected. “I think we arrive much more easier in the first half than the second to the by-line. “We cross three or four times and I thought maybe with Carrillo into the box will be important but at the same time we lose this connection between the line with Dusan. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!!!! He is attempting to justify his typically defensive substitutions with the comment that "more offensive people doesn’t mean you will dominate or play better" because "we arrive much more easier in the first half than the second to the by-line" but then recognises that " with Carrillo into the box will be important but at the same time we lose this connection between the line with Dusan" ??!!!!!???!!!! THEN DON'T SUBSTITUTE TADIC YOU ABSOLUTE MORON. Take off Davis who was having a horrific game. I would love to hear a logical explanation for this decision. But I cannot think of one.
  6. You lose ALL credibility when you fail to recognise the contribution of Tadic and Boufal. The latter being by far our key to unlock defences and the former being our most creative player.
  7. This is the team for me........ ---------------------McCarthy-------------------- Cedric-----Stephens--------Hoedt-----Bertrand ------------Lemina------------Hojbjerg---------- JWP------------------Tadic-----------------Boufal ---------------------Carrillo-----------------------
  8. You have been very clear in your dislike for Pellegrino. However, the more I hear from him in interviews and press quotes the more I'm actually starting to realise his level of intelligence. He certainly appears to me to be a pragmatist and realist with an understanding of where he would like this team to go and how he would like it to develop. In business, having a consistent strategy and committing to it wholeheartedly is more than half of the battle. He seems to have one and he is articulate enough to suggest he has the intelligence and competence to follow it through. Admittedly, the results aren't going our way. So there is work still to do. However, in a bizarre industry where the riches disproportionately outweigh the volume of intellectual people. I'm starting to feel like, despite the current league standings - he is someone we should be backing. Not disregarding. Clearly, I will always respect and consider insider and/or closer views. But I'm not sure how qualified you are to really guide opinion anymore?
  9. I did the same. Not being a total lifeless loser, I dont spend my life on this forum. CB Frys username was familiar, as a regular legitimate poster. I took it as read also. So maybe wind your neck in.
