    Che Adams?

What on earth has happened to him? Honestly 3 chances set up for him and one he never committed to the lovely ball played across by AA. Also he just gets his feet tangled up when it’s put on a sixpence. I swear I could of put one of those away!
  2. Proud fan watching that. Adams is a fucking donkey while this Cardiff fan had this to say about us. Re: SOUTHAMPTON v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread I knwo they are at home but have to say they seem one of the best teams we have played...way better than WBA....maybe Leeds/Leicester better.
  3. I know he’s been on fire this season but I can’t see Adam Armstrong doing it for us in the premiership. If we go up we might need a coupe of strikers as Che will be long gone too.
  4. Still underperforming for me at the moment. Exciting to watch when trying to take on that last man but needs more IMHO.
  5. Hope the team don’t underestimate them like our fans have. We struggled against Millwall and I see this as another tough game.
  6. Just shows we were shit at getting on the end of his crosses.
  7. Address the goals against? We brought in a good defensive coach and so far in his 2 games we’ve conceded 1 which was today. Thats way above our average to date so the plan is certainly there!
  8. Becoming a good keeper as he has a confident defence ahead of him. Even Holgate was made to feel comfortable because we defend in two good banks of 4. Well done Martin & Mowbray.
  9. Almost putting on Paul Moody to replace Matt Le Tissier who then responds with two worldies.
  10. From a Millwall forum. I only watched the 2nd half yesterday, Southampton had quality all over the pitch, when they got the ball, they moved it around, to do so, players have to FUCKING MOVE. While a lot of their passing wasn't always hurting us in relation to the score line, it made us run around like headless chickens wasting valuable energy and in the latter part of the game it showed. We on the other hand, didn't know what to do with it when we got it half the time, passing seemed to be something very few were capable of with any accuracy, although, saying that, there were 2 occasions when we moved it fast, direct, ON THE GROUND, and created momentum even if it only resulted in 2 shots from outside the box. It got me applauding them from the other side of the world. It showed that we CAN be direct and pose a threat when done correctly, it showed that we CAN and DO have the ability to pass the ball in an attacking manner and this against a team who had the ability to run rings around us. There is hope. Overall though, we were second best all over the pitch and things have to change and fast. We do have the players to play attacking football, we need to make our home a fortress as it is stunningly obvious in results and performances, that the players are nervous as fuck, probably due to the abuse given to them by home fans from time to time, which, although I get, has to be directed in a constructive manner, not after 10 pints and a bit of doings. I saw someone talking about our midfielders and that none of them can play, I disagree. I think it is the WAY we play that prevents them from being as effective as they could be, although, yesterday for instance, after seeing Southampton knock it around and through us at will, did cause me to shout "get closer to him then you cunt" on more than one occasion. I was always taught to defend from the front, can't effectively do that with 1 upfront so we start defending from the midfield, who it seems have been told to defend the defence so they give ground in the middle of the park allowing teams to knock it about, gain confidence, and get us on the back foot AT HOME. If we need to change one thing, it is to stop this bollocks at home, away from home, fair enough, but at home, get at em, get the crowd on your side and go for it. Why have 11 defending a corner? We get the clearance to the half way line, where 2 Southampton players pick it up and start again, managing to play it through and around us to feet when they are outnumbered, how about leaving the strikers ( plural used there as we should always play with 2 at home ) up front either side of the center circle to pick up the clearances, that would automatically mean Soton having to have at least 3 stay back and maybe 4. Anyway, I could go on, but rant over. We are capable, we just need someone to steer the team in the right direction.
  11. I can see Ipswich having a bad patch but I can’t see Saint’s continuing our run.
  12. Seriously come on we should be pissing all over Birmingham at home. Score early and the 3,000 away fans will make them even more jittery. With a decent manager and a good players system we should be winning this 4-1. As it’s Russell Martin with the way he wants it played then I say 1-1 or 1-2 to them!
  13. Can’t understand why we didn’t try to win last nights game which on paper is much harder than Birmingham. Those 5 players came in were mostly fucking shit. I know he said injuries but if you’re on the bench then you are fit to play. Should have gone all out against a frail team lacking confidence with no points in the last 4 and then shut the shop up and put these squad players on to defend what you had.
  14. Very true. The amount of times you see them running in spaces looking for a through ball but it never happens. Then you start giving up because you are drifting out the game. What do you do next? You start looking for the ball in midfield which is already compact.
  15. Just please don’t play Holgate anywhere on the pitch at the start. He doesn’t breed confidence to anyone around him!
