I do agree with this. But I'm not sure if it happens at every club but we, as fans, always seem to need a few "boo boys"
-
Don't think he scored 1 own goal. And it's not his fault he's not good enough is it? Bought in the championship and had a great season racking up assists. Not sure why that makes him a villain. Same reason as Sharp, Hammond, Harding, Guly, Richardson, Davis are all villains....odd!

Seager and Gape sign long-term pro deals

So did DMG!! But yes. Be nice to have a proper striker through the ranks. Clearly very highly rated. -
10er.

Next big thing?! -
Because we'll be fighting relegation all season? You of all people should know this?

Hahaha!!!! Happy Clappy in full flow! I like the new alpine!

Always one or two strugglers who aren't promoted sides. Can't see them all going down. Sure they'll be an established side or two who struggle too. Newcastle and Sunderland done alright the season before. Stoke/Fulham possibly next season...think Norwich will have a decent year, maybe WBA will struggle a bit more this year? Sunderland could go either way. Could push on or do a QPR it depends how they gel together as they'll have a completely new side next year.

Something is happening at the ground... Possibly.

When was the last time we never heard of a signing before it happened....can't see it personally! -
I'm guessing you've never seen him play?! Rhodes cost Blackburn £12m, he would probably cost a prem club £15m.

FourFourTwo Season Predictions - (Premier League - League Two)
Saint Garrett replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Us to finish above West Ham. Sunderland to stay up - other than that, about right. -
Jesus wept BS. Yawn.
-
Guan normally just says ":)" FWIW, I don't think we'll be signing anyone today.
-
Don't players in the prem earn much more, therefore offer very little value when moving within the premier league. And players will rarely move for a drop in salary.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Qatar "deserve" it because they bribed Blatter the most. It's a complete farce that they have the WC, but I do believe it should be elsewhere In the world than Europe.
-
So by that logic Ben Reeves contributed more than Mayuka and Guly last season?

Saints will get 'development fee' if bale is sold
Saint Garrett replied to Batman's topic in The Saints
It's something like its scaled down from 5% if the player is there between 12-24, so we'd get a bit. Nothing loads though. -
So pretty likely Sharp could have also contributed nothing as well.
-
Possibly, but ask me the same question about Mayuka and I'd probably say he would have as well. All hypothetical anyway though.

Boruc; Clyne Lovren Hooiveld Shaw; Wanyama Morgan Cork; JRod Lallana; Lambert.

I agree, I hate the whole 'he has pace so he's good' argument, but it's not like Sharp has a deft touch is it, or be able to ping it in from 30 yards. He's a good bloke but a very average footballer at this level. If Mayuka or Sharp are our first choice strikers next season, then we'll be in big trouble IMO. However as an impact sub, I think I would rather have Mayuka coming on. It's a bit of a non argument though as neither of them have shown anything to convince me they're any good at this level,
-
Don't think there's much in it to be honest, think Mayuka has more potential to be good in the prem though as he has pace. Sharp is just too one dimensional for me. And I mean when he was at Forest.....in the league below the one people are sayin he should be playing in.
-
Just another reason why you clearly talk crap. No sense in that. Has to prove himself at the level he's at before he deserves a chance in the prem. he definitely didn't shine last season. Even when he was with us in the prem he did ok, but hardly stood out like Rickie did he. He's a decent finisher if you get the ball to him in the box, but that's about it. He doesn't offer enough outside of the box and to the team in general. Yes he's a top bloke, but so was Butterfield, Hammond and Chaplow.
