Car - refund?

Saga continues - garage refusing to refund anymore than £500 towards the £1,300 bill.

 

To recieve the £500 I have to confirm that the matter is closed and no follow up. Rock and hard place...... dont have many other options!

Ir depends how badly you want that £500. If you take it, they've won. But then again, £500 is £500 in anyones money and do you risk getting nothing if you refuse?

Tell the dealer you'll think about it but in the meantime you'll start posting about your experience on various industry and social networks.

Yep take it or leave it offer!

Insurer says that the optional extras added to the car at purchase would never be covered! They simply charge more for having extras as the car is more desirable to thieves!

Think you need to shop around at renewal time. I've always had policies with extras covered. Perhaps ask a decent broker like Chris Knott to find you a decent policy.
