Also, will they operate as a team after the meeting, i.e. they are working on a project with a deliverable or is it just that they are in the same department and it's a getting to know you/ networking exercise? If you know each other well then why need an ice breaker? Just have 10-15 minutes where everyone has a chat over a coffee, take the p*ss out of the ones you know the best and then crack on. ice breakers are for mongs and yanks. Supersubpuckett Posted 25 July, 2012 Share Posted 25 July, 2012 get everyone to write down something others might not know about them, put them in a pot and then try and guess who did what. play fetish and phobia - everyone writes down something they love doing and then something they hate and talks about it. Sounds shyte but is actually quite funny. or start the meeting by letting everyone have a good old moan about the company (being sales people they'll be good at this) for 30 mins - write it all down then put it away. We know eachother fairly well - and there are about 8 of us. Find a simple brain energiser on the internet - just to get everyone's creative juices flowing at the start of the day over a cup of tea. The most popular by far was the scavange hunt 20 odd items all had to be collected in a set time. Just random stuff that you may not find that quickly. Or a Giant 4 lane Scalextix. Sales teams don't need to like each other..... They are pitted against each other 99% of the time. You'll get more out of someone that wants to take the grin off of the "top" boys face that you will have them collecting seas shells together in the middle of the forest.
