History of Southampton Swimming Pool

Wasn't one of the boards 9 metres instead of 10 for the same reason?

At the time of the new pool being constructed I had some of the design drawings for the original pool & the board was definitely dimensioned as 10m. The reason this sticks with me all these years later is the diving board drawings were drawn to a metric scale & dimensioned in metric & all the other drawings were imperial, must've been a nightmare to reconcile the two on site.

However, whether it was built as 9 or 10m is anyone's guess, but I think it likely to be the later because I seem to recall them using the diving boards for championships.
