Sky Go App

Anyone know the answer

I've used Sky Go in the past and pretty sure I used it whilst jailbroken on iPhone 4.

However, I updated Sky Go App recently and it gave me a message that it would not work on a jailbroken phone - fair enough I guess :8

Today I updated my software to version 5.1.1 (9B206), which I figured would un-jailbreak the phone.

However, Sky Go still gave the same message. I deleted the app, then re-installed, logged in again, but still no joy.

Anyone any ideas why it is still doing this, as I figured the phone would now technically be a 'pure' phone again....

Apple have done code that Devs can implement to detect the jailbreak. The app remembers detecting it even if you upgrade and take off jailbreak.

Re-Jailbreak, delete Sky Go app, add http://n00neimp0rtant.dyndns.org/repo to Cydia sources, install/update XCON, download then install Sky Go from Installous, Now you can log in and use app as normal :-)
