The car has been maintained over the years by her ex husband who is a professionally trained VW technician, it was in his interest to "over maintain" it as it was transporting his 2 boys around. Yes, and you're presumably opting to sell it to him for £2300 rather than the queue of people at your front door offering the same amount of money because he's a great bloke right?
