Anyone want a well equipped, modern looking, high "build quality" hifi to ring in the new year? Unwrapped, still in box (recently bought a different hifi so not required) ? This isnt a cheap plasticky, "tinny sounding" Currys stereo system, this is a well built, heavy lump of modern hifi design. You can play normal music CD's, CD's containing MP3 Tracks, Radio Stations, Ipod/Iphone music in quality digital form, MP3's stored on a USB Stick plus iPad or TV via the rear input.

Detailed Info

Fully featured and boasting the sound quality you'd expect from Onkyo.

BUILT-IN IPOD/IPHONE DOCK AND USB PORT

With a built-in dock suitable for iPod or iPhone (excluding the iPhone 5), the Onkyo Colibrino makes the ideal mini hi-fi for freeing your iPod/iPhone's music library. Better still, this is a digital dock that taps into the digital output of your Apple device rather than the analogue output. By keeping the signal digital from source to speaker, the sound quality is less likely to be degraded and is therefore crisp and pure. The supplied remote controls the device's track selection and shuffle modes. Finally the dock will, of course, also charge your iPod or iPhone (older 30-pin type connection - not suitable for iPhone 5).

In addition to the built-in dock, the Onkyo Colibrino also comes with a front-mounted USB port. Connect your suitable USB flash memory device and you'll be able to control and playback your stored digital music via USB.

QUALITY TUNER AND CD PLAYER BUILT-IN

Boasting a built-in FM tuner with 30 presets, this Onkyo mini system is ideal for listening to your favourite radio stations. The CD player features three play modes (normal/random/repeat) plus two repeat modes (disc/track) for complete playback flexibility. It will also play MP3 CDs and finalised CD-RW discs.

ONKYO QUALITY SOUND

Using digital amplification, this hifi is not only extremely energy efficient, it also sounds punchy and dynamic. Although small, the powerful sound with Super Bass Function can fill a fair sized room before becoming overwhelmed. The supplied speakers are similarly deceptive and, thanks to their bass reflex design, punch well above their compact size.

volume level.

You can add Bluetooth to most Stereos using one of these:

And once you have connected your iPhone / iPod Touch you can run one of the many free apps to add Internet radio. If you don't have any Apple products then just connect your Sky Box or Virgin box and use their hundreds of free Digital Radio Stations?
