Went to Wentworth the other week on the sat and sun of the PGA, and was impressed with Manassero and Pepperel. Put a couple of quid on them finishing top ten, but doesn't look like happening now! Also got bets on Schwartzel, Scott and Simpson each way. None looking very likely but adds a bit of interest to it! The Kraken Posted 14 June, 2013 Share Posted 14 June, 2013 I rarely have a bet but I'm well into the golf, I'll be watching all the way until close tonight. 15 years ago I had a job teaching golf in Philadelphia at a kids golf academy, and lived a 5 minute walk from Merion. Wentworth was hugely impressive when I went there a few weeks ago but this looks a different level. Don't like Mickelson, no idea why, no reason to either, just don't like him... Hoping that Luuuuuuuuuuuuuke can stay amongst it and win through. Short course which should suit him; but its the US Open so anything can happen. Looks like it'll be whoever can keep their nerve and get one less bogey than the others! What's the chances of it being a +2 or more score that wins it.
