Holloway sacked ?

Press conference at 5.30 apparently at Palace

Shame.

No reason to sack him really, sh*t team, sh*t club, not his fault .

Unless he, like Adkins, decided that his binky goalkeeper was up to the job when he very evidently wasn't. Having a really decent keeper is one of the keys to PL survival.

Bad decision if true. At best they should be aiming to be a yo-yo club in the short to medium term a bit like West Brom a few years ago. Holloway unexpectedly got them up, could any manager be doing a better job with that squad?

This. They had a shockingly weak squad that got them promoted. They'd have a much better chance of survival if they used the money wisely and got promoted again. Holloway clearly isn't the worst manager, just a clown who can't handle a bit of banter when it's thrown back at him.

Agree with this. I thought at the start of the season Palace would go down and should consider it a result given the boost to the coffers. Holloway is annoying, but entertaining and has proven ability in getting average squads of the championship. Anyone can see the squad is not good enough - I suppose the question is whether the squad is bad enough that it should be getting tonked 4-1 at home to Fulham. Clearly that has been the tipping point.
