I would like to go for the first two weeks, to say Fortalesa in the north where it will be warm and sunny (despite being "winter") and just take a chance on the games there, soak up the sun and the atmosphere, and watch England on a big screen if need be. The9 Posted 10 November, 2013 Share Posted 10 November, 2013 Expensive and dangerous, plus I don't speak Portuguese. I did my time with World Cup '94 and '98, Euro '96, 2000 and 2004 anyway. If I had a spare couple of grand I'd be thinking seriously about it, but suspect at best I'll be in France in '16 as there will be loads of half-full grounds for 3v4 games.
