OttawaSaint Posted 24 October, 2014 Share Posted 24 October, 2014 Hello everyone, I am flying in to London Heathrow tomorrow morning. My brother passed away suddenly; he was only 35. I haven't landed in London in many years. I had to this time as I couldn't get a fight to an airport in the North East where my family live. Do you have any tips/advice for getting across London from heathrow to Kings Cross so that I can get the train up to the North East and maybe save a bit of money in the mean time (our dollars don't stack up too well with your pounds). Thanks in advance OttawaSaint A terrible reason to have to come back to the UK. You can catch the Piccadilly line direct from LHR to Kings Cross. so22saint Posted 24 October, 2014 Share Posted 24 October, 2014 Sorry to hear that as everybody else says - that's a terrible reason to have to come to London Agree Tube is the cheapest and it might be best to stick a fiver on an Oyster card as the cheapest way to do it (though there's a 5 quid deposit I think).
