London, travel, trains...advice/tips

Hello everyone,

I am flying in to London Heathrow tomorrow morning. My brother passed away suddenly; he was only 35.

I haven't landed in London in many years. I had to this time as I couldn't get a fight to an airport in the North East where my family live.

Do you have any tips/advice for getting across London from heathrow to Kings Cross so that I can get the train up to the North East and maybe save a bit of money in the mean time (our dollars don't stack up too well with your pounds).

Thanks in advance

A terrible reason to have to come back to the UK.

You can catch the Piccadilly line direct from LHR to Kings Cross.
