All things Labour Party

Read it again more carefully, please. A clear majority of the electorate who voted in the referendum voted for leave. Leave out the words "of the electorate" from my original statement if it helps you, but they were members of the electorate weren't they?

So now you are backtracking because, no matter how 'carefully' it is read, your original statement was erroneous.

It's the same logic that claims the fishing industry in towns like Fleetwood will benefit from leaving; it won't because the dock no longer exists. Almost all of the dockside buildings have been knocked down and new housing built over the site.

So this website for ABP is out of date then?

The way that it was phrased led you to misread it. I'm sure that the figure of 17.4 million (f*ck -offs) who voted to leave the EU in the referendum is fairly universally known, so it is obvious that not many would be misled by it, but well done for thinking I was trying to mislead you.

Actually, looking at the Fleetwood Port Plan, yes it is. The Ro-Ro hasn't run since 2004, and the west jetty is now houses, built by Redrow. Similarly, the area marked as 'dry berthing / storage compound' has recently been overbuilt with new houses. ( https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.9172036,-3.0115474,1054m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en-GB&authuser=0 ). Recently they have started putting up yet more housing on the area south of the port, marked as 'Area for Development'.

Fleetwood does still land fish, but in such small quantities that it doesn't register in the official statistics, https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/uk-sea-fisheries-annual-statistics-report-2018

Keep fighting the fight.....they did win again, afterall

It is quite pathetic isn't it. This country needs a credible opposition yet what we have is a political movement more akin to radicals at a university student union. They need to sort themselves out fast.

I swear this has been Corbyn's key strategy all along, appeal to the youth, plant that seed and see the benefit in a decade or so to come. Build a movement over creating a coherent political force...... Although he did try to do that..... Try.

What a surprise, the antisemitism smears were just that, smears.

https://dorseteye.com/report-in-to-antisemitism-in-labour-party-concludes-that-jeremy-corbyn-and-senior-leadership-were-stitched-up/

I assume the BBC will run with this as a rolling headline for the next few months.

Yes, because this is definitely what we should be focusing on over the ‘next few months’.

What a surprise, the cretin and cronies expend infinitely more energy in trawling through thousands of emails to compile a self-justifying paranoia dossier than they ever did in actually trying to cut out the cancer of anti-semitism from the followers of their cult.

The party lawyers are refusing to submit their horsesh it document because they fear it will damage their own defense to the EHRC.

They were shut at the correct time, as I said the day it was announced. Not sure that is relevant here.

I assume that the Labour party will be suing the BBC imminently for their misrepresentation...
Not when the party's own lawyers have judged the dossier to be inadmissible and counter productive.

However, a cursory look at Twitter this morning shows plenty of frothing cretin-worshippers taking this development as proof that the Labour party is now run by, the, err, Jewish Board of Deputies and plenty of "you know who is behind this..."

You couldn't make it up.

For the many, not the jew.

Have the Equality and Human Rights Commission published their final report and reached that conclusion, then? I hadn't realised.

Be an absolute sweety and post the link up, will you?

Keep clear of that mainstream meeeja though, won't you.

Well the worst election result since the 1930s and consistently polling with by some distance worst approval rating of any senior British politician since the dawn of time certainly show where your boy is in regard to popular opinion. The most disliked UK politician in my lifetime.

But The Canary think he's brilliant so he must be.

I'll admit I like Another Angry Voice. And seeing as the tolerant "centre" on here keep referring to a cult:

If a prominent politician comes out of intensive care and your first thought is "how can I turn this into a meme about my hero" then yeah, that feels like a cult to me.

Also, those aren't "policies" in his first bit. Just a list of vague "nice" things the messiah will bring upon us all if only we believed in him. You know, like a cult.

The cretin doesn't need to worry about policies anymore because he will never again be in a position to present any ever again. And what a relief for the poor and disadvantaged who might now get government that helps them rather than a bunch of cranks obsessing about Israel utterly incapable of inspiring the public to vote for them.

All those wasted years. Would be hilarious if it wasn't so despicable.

Any sign of that groundswell of popular opinion yet?

The Israel thing was just part of the baggage Corbyn carried around which made him so inappropriate for party leadership.

Fact is if you campaign for Palestinian rights you make so many enemies within the Jewish community you will always have anti-semitism allegations thrown at you. At least now the party will have seen the back of that particular problem.

Amazing how your lot have mentally erased the 2017 GE, all the texts and emails just show how much the right of the party was undermining the election campaign all the way through. And then to claim they were doing it for their deep concern for disadvantaged people is laughable.

The real battle Corbyn's lot were interested in winning was for the control of the Labour party.

Try reading the info from the current dossier, if anything it was the Labour party "civil servants" who didn't do their job and spent their whole time trying to undermine the popularity of Corbyn and trying to return the leadership the Blairite wing of the party.

2017 was the worst election campaign ever run by a sitting prime minister in the history of British politics and your twa t still couldn't win.

Because he was never popular with enough of the British public, demonstrated by his failure to win where he needed to win to actually govern.

May's appalling election campaign = 317 seats

Corbyn's glorious victory = 262 seats

The fact that you dins go on and about what is actually a pathetic failure shows how utterly out of touch you are.

Eventually Corbyn controlled every single lever of the entire Labour party in 2019 and where did it get you? The worst result since the thirties and the least popular leader of the opposition of all time. But yeah, it's all the fault of some back office staff that share the widely held view that Jeremy Corbyn was and is an utter plank.

Always the victim, it's never your fault.

Jeremy Corbyn was never, ever popular.

Never.

It doesn't matter what Laura Pidcock and Ian Lavery and Uncle Len Mccluskey say at the Durham Miner's Gala.

Never, ever popular. So sweet that you think that this non existent "popularity" could be undermined.

Moans the supporter of a man who undermined his party at every opportunity. So if the media and factions with in the party weren't against Corbyn he wouldn't have turned in the worst performance in 90 years, that's deluded and so is wondering why some in the party would want to return the leadership to the wing of the party that actually won elections.

It's his right as an MP to vote for what he believes in.

It's the job of the party staff to respect the democratically elected leader and ollow the leaderships instructions to the best of their abilities.

Mate have you read some of the accusations in that article, its ****in laughable, a few WhatsApps from non Corbyn supporters ****ed off with the result. To be electable you have to be a large broad political party and these always have wings and factions. Every major party in or out of government has had to deal with them and Corbyns time is no different, so to claim that it affected their electibility or their ability to deal with antisemitism is a joke.

Jonnyboy thinks that dossier proves that all the anti-semitism in Corbyn's Labour was all "made up" because that's how they've reported it on Squawkbox.

Thick doesn't even begin to cover it.

He's just displaying the attitude of total authoritarian socialism - the Dear Leader is in charge and everyone must obey.

Explains partly why Corbyn was so utterly pathetic because in this country we don't stand for that and he didn't have the wherewithal to run a bath let alone a political party.

Absolutely fu cking terrified to think how they'd have been in this crisis.

The only testing they would have focused on would have been political purity tests.

The minute any doctor or expert stepped out of line or expressed concerns the Corbynista outsiders would be all over them for being Tories or, even worse, "linked to Israel". They'd be hounded out.

And Milne would be using the whole thing to play out his ultimate solution of some Maduro/Chavez superstate. Luckily he was never getting in so never really an option.

Jonnyboy what do you reckon about the stellar lineup in the shadow cabinet? Emily Thornberry, David Lammy, jess Phillips, Naz Shah, Rebecca long Bailey. Some serious talent there.

I wouldn't sneer too much the actual cabinet hardly has much gravitas, it's nothing like the heady days of Thatchers gang; two political lightweights in Chancellor and Foreigh Secretary, a fairly useless and totally unliked Home Secretary, a health secretary that no one had heard of before Corona, middling defence and education secretaries and then below that a bunch of top scores in Pointless. The only 'names' in Gove and Mogg are such ****s they couldn't be trusted with a proper role. All led by a bloke whose has achieved so little he has to pad his CV out with the London Olympics.
