free kick....wide left about 15 yards outs on the edge of the box

was offside to be fair......

JwP to take.........embarrassment

Nothing wrong with the freekick routine. Davis just forgot to f*cking go for it.

Should have been a penalty as well.

Joke.

No midfield at all to speak of. Romeu totally overrun on his own. Davis, Ward-Prowse and Tadic nowhere to be seen.

I'm all for attacking football, but this is suicide.

The squad is unbalanced we have some good elements but we didn't strengthen midfield properly in the summer. Need better midfielders in the summer especially in the holding role.

so plenty went wrong with it.

HT

totally men against boys.

Davis is woeful, Defence getting done in the air by Son and bloody Alli

they are a good side, no doubt but we have been poor in possession. Davis making Romeu do two mans work IMO

I'd like do see Hoj on for Davis

Play Davis alongside Romeu and central midfield will be overrun, possession conceded and that will almost always be the case against quality opposition. Why is Caceres boy playing in place of Stephens and I pray someone taps Jwp up on internationals. Boufal needs a run in his place

jwp should of made sure the player was ready for his pass. The players looked like they had no clue what he was going to do. As someone else said there has been no communication between players today.

Plenty wrong with it. Should have been drilled it, could of hit anyone on the way in or gone straight in. What's the keepers worst nightmare, a ball whipped in or fanny around on the edge of the box.

Unfortunately, someone seems totally oblivious to reality:

Same ****ing ref as the EFL final. Don't expect anything off that tit.

Was a stonewall pen - Marriner must be on commission to have given the Spurs one and not the blatant foul on Tadic. Get Caceres on and Stephens at DMC. Spurs dirty - Dier could have gone for foul on Redmond. How was that different to Huddlestone yesterday. Poor defending for lead up to their penalty.

Or something totally unexpected, a shot from a player unmarked on the edge of the box through a crowd of players so he's unsighted...

That first half was a bit of a disaster

I'd get Caceres on. I like Stephens but he has a lot to learn still.

He won't learn much sitting on the bench. It doesn't matter who we have in defence if the midfield don't protect them and they have a disaster of a goal keeper behind them.

We're not actually playing that badly. We just look like a team that has nothing to play for. Frustrating thing is, I've seen Spurs play a lot better than thks.

Agreed, but also, while not playing badly, we are doing nothing to control the pace or mode of the game. Our biggest fault is letting spurs dictate the tempo. Mind you, when the ref fixes it so you can't get a sub on,.............

Spurs are a decent team no doubts or disputes.

However they are without Kane (top scorer) and we have had 15 days to prepare for this game.

Players look slower, weaker and the passing has been pathetic. JWPs free kick at the end summed us up nicely.

Seems to be a classic Puel 2k16 performance, not committing players forward and defence looking shakey and sitting deep. A side lacking leadership, pace, ideas and Identity today.

How has that **** Marriner not awarded us a penalty for Davies hacking down Tadic in the box? He didn't get anything of the ball

Because we're playing a 'big club'.

Anyone who thinks the officiating in the Premier League is unbiased, just has to watch our games against the 'big clubs' this season to see that it isn't.

Even if Marriner didn't see it, effing Lino should have done. What is it with Marriner's blind linos? Souness and Redknapp astonished that Quinn disagreeing it should have been a pen!

Well that hasn't gone well. 2 down and one injury.

Spurs have played well but its very hard to play against 12 and half men(ref and lino)

How is tadic incident not a penalty but the Alli one is? Typical biased refeering, scared of making decisions against teams in race for top positions. It would look even worse if tadic had of tucked away that sitter when the lino called a ball that went nowhere near the byline as out.

Difficult for Marriner to see, however the linesman (who made a howler earlier when tadic blazed over) had a clear view of the whole incident.

I think the ref has had a good game, his official on the other hand....

Fraser couldn't do much about that goal - taken early, slight deflection and unsighted. Also great stop from the corner at 1-0. Only really one cross he should have claimed. Stephens has been a bigger problem and surely last game before Caceres gets a start.

Gabbiadini only a strain apparently. Ref misses another blatant shirt pull!
