They played that as they came out for the 2nd half on Saturday.
I didn't know how awful it was going to be until I had heard it.

Its just awful! I'm embarrassed by it. The Skids gets my vote. They play Southampton in June.....

Never going to happen at St Mary's though.
Not sure if you realise or not but isn't actually Sinatra's 'My Way' that we play.

It's a song recorded by the players to the same tune. Agree it's f*cking awful and has to go.

The original might actually work - much better than current 'we are southampton'

    Agreed. Get rid of it.

Can you imagine our fans actually doing something like this? Think most have taken the far more cringeworthy and embarrassing 'this is our church' marketing bullshyt way too seriously and taken a vow of silence.

The best use of an actual song I've seen live at football is what Sampdoria do at the end of a match. It sounds ace in the stadium.

    I've emailed supporterrelations@saintsfc.co.uk

If a few others do maybe the club will see no one likes this garbage.

Do some of you ever wonder if maybe you take football just a littler too seriously?

Worried that away fans are laughing at a song your club plays before a game!? jesus christ

The notorious Southampton Hooligan Element or 'Scum Army', as they like to be known, have not fought long and hard, (over Land and Sea) building up a reputation of being the nastiest, most dangerous firm in the land, to be let down by this song.

Teams used to fear coming to St Marys, with this song, they now laugh at us. The removal of this awful song with drastically improve results both on and off the pitch.

Get something else on, deck the 'Northam ultras' out with dark stone island jackets, flares and balaclava's. The world renowned Chapel Kop will create the atmosphere and suck that ball into the net, like it has in years gone by, and get us back to our former glory.

Don't give a monkeys what other fans think, just know that it is awful and really hate to hear it being played right before a game starts. It was badly timed when it was introduced for its Trump association, and the rendition in a North American accent (I have a vision of it being Ralph singing) is just downright cringe worthy. There are also no references to Pompey in it. We have a song, we don't need this ****.

I think the song is awful. ONE STAR. Awful. I could not give a monkey's cuss what anyone else thinks about it.
