Looks like the back pages of a lot of papers tomorrow are running with a MELTDOWN at Spurs as all the star players agreed with Danny Rose and are allegedly unhappy that their wages pale in comparison to the top earners at the teams around them.

To be fair they have 8 or 9 players that are wanted and definitely good enough for the big payers.

Its remarkable that they have kept players happy so long.

Id personally have Daniel Levy put in charge of brexit negotiations, he knows how to get top deals done and has helped build something very special at spurs on a reflective budget comparatively.

Spurs are a victim of their success, not too dissimilar to what we experienced. There problem might be down to the rules. I am not sure what level they can spend wage wise, but isn't there a stipulation that you cannot increase your wage bill by more than £7m? If that is the case, and if the whole dressing room is behind Rose, then they are stuffed. £7m to go around say 10 players, is £700k a head for the year (£13.5k a week increase), when I suspect that the players are thinking along the lines of £60-70k more each a week.

Ajax turned down a € 40m offer for Sanchez from Spurs as they already have loads of money, good for them. Hopefully they won't give in when even more silly money is offered.

Hmm, Davinson Sanchez not selected for tonights game, it appears he wants a transfer to Spurs.

@SkySportsPL

TRANSFER CENTRE: #Juve are readying a £23m bid to try and tempt #LFC to part company with midfielder Emre Can http://skysports.tv/m7Di57

 Liverpool are in MELTDOWN

Chan might be a bigger loss for them than Coutinho to be honest, granted doesn't bang in the goals but seems vital in that midfield, be like them letting another Xabi Alonso go.

But again it's Juve, pretty much guaranteed tittles and champions league, which is not going to happen at Liverpool.

@SkyKaveh: Great signing for Stoke City if they manage to pull it off -favourites to sign ex Real Madrid forward Jesé on loan from PSG

That would depend if he's any less dire than he has been at PSG, saw him once for them last season, he was truly atrocious.

Just don't see him handling the PL at all. Needs to wander back off to Spanish strolling football.

WHU IN ADVANCED TALK FOR CARVALHO

We understand West Ham are in advanced talks to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho.

The Hammers are believed to be prepared to pay £30m up front, with add-ons taking the deal closer to his £40m release clause.

West Ham have already had a £27m offer rejected and Carvalho is not in Sporting squad for tomorrow's first-leg Champions League qualifier against Steaua Bucharest.

BURNLEY BID £11.8M FOR ANDONE

Burnley have made a £11.8m bid for Deportivo La Coruna striker Florin Andone, according to Sky sources.

Burnley made the offer for Romania international striker Andone after having had two bids rejected by Championship side Leeds United for Chris Wood.

Watford, Fiorentina, Espanyol and Sporting Lisbon were all previously linked with the 24-year-old, who scored 12 goals in 37 appearances for Deportivo last season.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche is in the market for a striker to replace Andre Gray, who joined Watford for a club-record fee, believed to be in the region of £18m.

Sky sources understand Leeds rejected two bids from Burnley for Wood, with the opening offer believed to be £12m plus add-ons. The New Zealand striker was Leeds' player-of-the-year last season after hitting 30 goals for the Championship side and has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs during the summer.

I wouldn't say EVERYONE wants him to stay.

We don't, for LOL's.

Barcelona don't. They want him to go without a doubt.

I would guess Everton don't.

Chelsea perhaps don't.

The two Manchester clubs? Probably not.

Aresenal. Perhaps they don't.

WHU,Spurs,West BRom, Boscome? I don't think.

The rest, probably don't care.

CITY INTEREST IN EVANS

Now this an intriguing line...

We understand Manchester City are interested in West Brom centre-back Jonny Evans.

We understand the Northern Ireland international has been on City’s radar for several weeks. One source has told us that City have already had a bid turned down by West Brom. However another has told us that discussions between the two clubs are yet to reach that stage.
