He mentioned Southampton so many times, it made me think he must be from here too. When he said, "The whole of Southampton must be watching" I thought, probably not at this time. I doubt many people had even heard of Billy Morgan before today. He claims a rival curler who wasn't selected for the Russian team spiked his drink. The drug in question is completely useless for curling so it does seem a bit odd that he would dope. I used to watch Saturday Afternoon wrestling with my dad when Mick McManus was the man to hate and he probably wrestled in Southampton on the odd occasion. Mick came from London like some Saints players have done. He might even have gone on holiday to Portugal where more than one Saints player has grown up.
