Bringing on Boufal and Gabbiadini would once have been reason to hope and be excited, but now they look as defeated as everyone else. Sims has had the benefit of being injured and not being affected by the general malaise in the rest of the team. The signs were clearly there at the end of last season with Puel. Club had chance to do something about it but cocked up by employing someone even worse and not making some required signings. Personally I would have stuck with Puel, but I didn't have to sit and watch the team.
