Default Newcastle 3 Saints 0 - Post Match

Starting it now. Wonder what Mr Bean has to say about this fecking shambles. The only crumb is that other results have gone our way so far.

It is an insult to every single supporter that he has stayed in the job for so long.

I want this result to mean something but it won't.

Same old sh*t next weekend, another three points dropped, another nail in our premier league coffin.

We still have a bunch of games where it is the perfect oppertunity to 'gamble' on a new face for that bounce effect. And I don't mean a Kelvin Davis and Rhadi Jaidi dream team either.

If they keep it as it is, it's going one way. make a change, and you never know it may give us a bounce which is all we'd need.

Someone at the club needs to grow some balls.

Surely even Les will want to get shot of the him after this further shambles.

    Going down with The Pelgrano.

More likely a highly predictable and embarrassing loss at Wigan.

    MoPe/s after match interview:

    "We're growing.
    Good possesion in their half.
We need to focus on the reality, not opinion...and in many ways we were the better side.
I can only do so much....it is the players who need to make things happen.
I am being paid a ****ing fortune, I have no idea how the hell I got this job, and there's no way I'm resigning...I want my pay off."

MP will bemoan the early goal from which we never recovered with the implication that the gameplan and setup were basically fine.

Fair play to West ham (not the idiots going on the pitch) fans protesting at the ineptitude of their board. Not advocating similar but it shows how easy Reed/Ralph have had it. 3pts off Champions league to this in 2 years. Bravo Sirs.

‪West Ham fans force their owners to leave the directors box before the final whistle in pitchside demo? Hmm food for thought though not sure #saintsfc fans would go down that path. Mind you these are desperate days‬ and if the Board won’t listen......

I've managed to make it to the end of the radio commentary - yay me. I thought the players were good enough to get out of this in spite of the manager - but I admit defeat, Pellegrino has to go.

If the poll gets run again I don't see how anyone can back him now.

    So disappointed

Board have to do something now. Probably too late but this has to stop.

We have 2 weeks before WHU. Sack MP, get Austin back, and change the tactics to be more aggressive (3-5-2, 3-3-4?). We need more attackers, so Austin, Gabbi, Sims, Boufal all need to play. I said this on the match thread too. We have time to stay up, but need to completely change what we are doing.

  22. Default

People say it's too late to sack him but surely anyone would be an improvement because it would, at the very least, be a change.

Absolute shambles. This could have been prevented if they sacked him when it was obvious he was ****e and found a more competent replacement, by December at the latest.

Is it possible for both Stoke and Crystal Palace to lose every match for the rest of the season?

This is the time to gamble, if they don't act now then they're clearly deluded and the future of our club is in very worrying hands.

They could almost manage themselves at this stage... Pretty sure the players know what to do....

He has to go now. Just get Silva in ffs.

Hopefully everyone else is just a little bit ****ter so we stay up.

Nothings going to change. Nobody at the club seems to care about the position we are in, ambling on week in, week out and taking steps closer to the ever looming precipice.

It really is, I just don’t think that they will.

I really believe we are down. For the first time. Gutted. One unproven striker in another 6-pointer? I'll pick up again in the summer but, with MP in charge will abstain for the rest of this season...

Yeah keeps it interesting and will be there for that one. Lots of irate fans in flat caps

The players/manager should offer to refund the fans for their ticket and travel. They’ve been well and truly ‘Rafa’d’ there.

We could still be out of the bottom 3 after theChelsea/Palace and Stoke/ManC games have been played, and within reach of the 3 teams above us. The Board will take this situation as a positive, and do nothing.

Think Palce might win in a minute, Chelsea been dodgy lately and Barca coming up. 12/1 as well

TBH you could insert any of today's team into that sentence and it would still be accurate. Oddly I don't feel angry any more, just resigned and bemused.

Think most are feeling that. Hope has gone

11 points from the last 45 on offer. How MoPo and Reed still have jobs at Saints is mental.

Shambolic and embarrassing, starting to sound like a stuck record but surely enough is enough what are the board waiting for relegation to be confirmed or what?
