**** sake, tadic and Redmond on the wrong wings again....WHY are managers so obsessed with playing players than can't score but can cross on their weaker flank so that they can never get an early ball in?

I just don't understand it. Fine as an initial plan, plenty of teams do it with players effectively. But Redmond & Tadic invariably BOTH play sh1t on the opposite flank, and on the rare occasion they swap they BOTH look better. And yet every manager continues with the same old system.

I am genuinely flabbergasted at how it happens regardless of who is charge and how many times we see the same pattern. It wasn't a huge surprise that Redmond just had the opportunity to scamper into space - the full back was even encouraging him to get round the back - but instead stopped and desperately tried to come back onto his right.

this is the attacking football that we've all been crying out for that we've done in the past 5 minutes.

good overlapping full backs (Cedric still cannot cross for sh*t though), but a willingness to try and beat a man over passing it back...

yes there have been no goals but i'm feeling confident at this stage. come on Saints!

We finally bloody scored from someone elses corner!!!! feels so good!

however, I know we scored- but anyone else notice after Redmond passed it to Lemina he stopped running!

I was fully expecting Redmond to bust a gut and get down there too!

oh well- we scored!
