Football is a simple game, 22 men chase the ball for 82 minutes and the Germans get a player sent off so 21 men chase the ball for 13 minutes and at the end the Germans somehow f*cking win.

England looking good but we have played two poor sides. My main worry is how good our defence is once we come up against a side with some quality attacking players. The Belgium game will give us a much better idea of our chances in the tournament.

We still need more. We're level on goal difference but Belgium are ahead of us on goals scored. A draw with Belgium would see them win the group.

How folks say we’re not great, it looks like sound player management, we know what’s in front of us it’s 30°, do what we need to do to get the job done, when the the game is done go and run round the garden for 45 minutes. Panama are one of those type of teams we have stumbled round with over the years.

Looks like the forwards have been told not to go in too hard on 50/50s this half.

Bat, I agree, but the first 30 mins vs Tunisia were pretty good. This game must be hard to get totally motivated in 30ºc heat and being so many goals up.
