Losing money on him with 3 years left on his contract would be idiotic. Moreover, to all the people claiming he has a bad attitude and spends too much time on instagram, it's funny that it's only ever the likes of Pogba, Sterling and Lemina who get criticised for this, when pretty much every professional footballer under the age of 30 has more or less the same flashy, hedonistic lifestyle. Wonder what the common factor is between them?

They are bellends?

**** it, lets drive him out of the club - let's make his life hell.

There is a difference between someone who wants to play (hence not for us anymore) and someone who no longer has any ambition and is happy to turn up train and just collect the most expensive pay check at the club.

How do you know whether FF wants to play or not? Besides, at the most basic level, footballers are paid to train and be available to play if called upon - they aren't hired contingent on whether they are in or out of the first XI.

1%! very generous Maya

Just need a few others to do same.

1% is about 4 days wages from year, all prem players could spare that.

1% of FFs wages would be decent (c50k if the reported c100k pw wage is true)

Too blatant. Did you edit it down as well?

Which it isn’t, but not like you to make up a story to fit your agenda.

Liverpool fan on Facebook described us as the ideal team to play given Liverpools travels, injuries and mid week exhaustion

"a nice warm down match" apparently

A Liverpool fan on Facebook also said we were the best side they’ve played for a good few years.

Anyone can make up this bs.

Thanks for the points lads

Jesus you really are a ponderous team with little attacking threat. Its like same ****, different gravy every time we play but this time we got the result we deserved. A club with a progressive fully supportive chairman who has spent on the squad since he arrived and a young manager willing to adapt and change and build / sign a quality team of youngsters .....against you lot....a slowly dying club who have long since lost their identity.

Probably one of the worst teams we have encountered this season or even last. You lacked any real sort of attacking threat despite all of that sideways movement .

Enjoy your struggles this season and glad to see the patronising **** you shoved down our throats for decades has evaporated.

A well balanced post.... chip on both shoulders.

Did you get upset on the bridge the bucket collection wasn’t for you but a more deserving charity?

As much as your post is a bit ****... This is currently what separates Southampton and Bournemouth. Although, of course your owner won't be around forever and after that you'll go tumbling down like Huddersfield have.

Congratulations on winning the most important game of the season for you, you must be very happy!

I'll always have a soft spot for Bournemouth. To be honest, I'm glad you put three past our ramshackle defence, might finally get our manager to see the light and play our better players in the positions they belong in when we play more important matches.

Must be nice to finally beat us at our place after countless attempts, though... sort of like a bullied little brother who has finally grown up.

You had better nail Eddies feet to the floor as when he has gone you will be gone quicker that a turd down the sewer pipe. You have a fantastic owner who backs the club with your at best 10k fanbase. If his Russian connection ever turns bad beware as you will be begging us for a friendly again to rattle the buckets and wanting us to bail you out a bit.

I left the game not burning with spite as I would if it had been a proper derby but just another game against another small club who are having their day inthe sun
