I'll agree with fragile at the back, but we have two first-choices defenders still out. Attack have had few chances, not getting the supply with the final pass. Not true that midfield are going backwards. Looking to move forwards with good movement. Need Elyounoussi to give a bit of craft.

I'd agree about the midfield looking forward especially Armstrong who is always looking to move the ball forward..I like the look of him so far. Better than last season I'd say.

Powder puff in attack, fragile at the back and a midfield that likes to go back not forward, same problems as the last two to three years yet we have alarmingly done little to address the obvious imbalance in the squad.

We seem to be missing a central defence. Hoedt just wanders around aimlessly and is of little use for anything whilst Vestergaard is a big unit who can knock players over but has little real effect defensively when forwards run into the penalty area, where knocking them over would just give away penalties. On this pre-season evidence, top Premier League teams would just waltz straight through them and score 4-6 goals. Of course, it is just pre-season so maybe they will look better when the league season starts and anyway it's highly unlikely that Hughes would start them both for league games. Yoshida has to be first choice but it's difficult to see who will partner him.

And we still need a reliable goal scorer up front.

Don’t worry people, we lost 0-3 to Augsburg this time last year so the result is no indication on what the season ahead will be like.
Eeerrrr 4 nil actually, and we looked relegation fodder that day too.
