Terrible. Frustratingly we have some decent players but Hughes constantly wants to play this **** 5 at the back, when our CB’s are the problem. Hoedt isn’t a footballer, but sadly he holds the power.

Hughes shouldn’t have been given a contract, wasn’t hard to keep us up, with the shocking teams below us.

Looking forward to championship, might knock some sense into the idiots that run this shower.

Hoedt is pretty poor, there's no doubting that but he isn't responsible for half the things that people on here blame him for.

This. He's dreadful, but collectively he's no worse than all our CBs. Calling for calamity Yoshida to start just indicates how far we've gone backwards...Even if he could do no worse. That said his out ball was crap but Hojberg has got it caught under his feet for about the third time already this game.

Also where is SKD with his 'Lemina is good enough for top 4' BS.

Hoedt did well to snuff out Hazard at the top of the penalty area, passed it to Hoj who loses it to Barclay, who plays in Hazard unmarked down the middle of the penalty area for Chelsea’s first goal.
This.

You boo boys who think you know better than all the coaches, trainers and experts, and have decided to blame Hoedt for everything really are blind.

If you want to blame somebody blame PEH for that goal. He's not having his best game.

1-0 drubbing so far. Chelsea should've had two penalties and look like they've got two or three more gears up their sleeve if required.

Ings absolutely Shlonging a sitter from our only attack was a killer.

But while it's still only one, there's always a chance we can nick something from this.

The gulf in class is pretty grim, though.

We'd be better off playing the long ball out from defence and give up trying to pass through the Chelsea press.

Expect Bertrand to pick up another yellow now too. The ref was never going to change his mind on the free kick so why the strop?

Hoedt did well initially but then didn’t track the man. Hojbjerg mostly to blame IMO.

Hoedt played him a hospital pass. Hoedt constantly makes mistakes, constantly.

Commentators also blamed Hoedt for the goal after he done well to get the ball of Hazard.

Hoedt shoulda smacked it up field, they had loads of players around our box and our players aren't good enough to play out from the back under pressure.

Except for a brief spell, that was a thoroughly ****e first half, showing a huge gulf in quality.

Hoedt did well to dispossess Hazard right before the Chelsea goal, Hoj had some space when he received Hoedt’s pass, then turned into trouble. If either player chose to clobber the ball, it would probably have been OK. Chelsea’s most dangerous player was left wide open when Hoedt went with others to regain possession after Hoj lost the ball, and Lemina did not pick Hazard up. Bad decision making in a very dangerous location.

Ings really should have scored. He had a wide open net and skied it.

Does Hojbjerg ever have a best game ? I still don't see what people see in him, never have, probably never will.
