Although it currently says sold out, I’m pretty certain more will become available in Block M2 as we’ve only sold 1250 for blocks M3 and M4 so far

According to the website its sold out and no more are available - even though the original announcement said 2254 was an initial allocation.

Strange have the ticket office done their usual and not requested the extra allocation ?

You never really know what 'sold out' means with us, when we recently went to Cardiff I thought we took the full allocation which sold out a couple of weeks before the match but come the day there was an empty block of seats in the bottom corner behind the goal. When United went there next it was filled. There's little sense in Cardiff not giving them to the away club as they obviously can't sell tickets there to home fans and would just be robbing themselves of a few extra quid.

They do hold tickets back for 'staff sales' which are usually released when not taken up.

I also noticed at Cardiff there was anempty block of seats to our right between us Saints fans and the Cardiff fanson the side. When both Leicester and Manchester utd went there they both filledthis block and had fans right up to the segregation barrier.

A quick look on the Leicester City site confirms that Saints have not taken the full allocation as they have started selling tickets to their fans in block M1. Shame as I feel we could have sold the extra 1000 tickets seeing as there still 2 weeks to go.

Our dopey Ticket Office have a habit of taking the reduced allocation and then shouting about it being SOLD OUT even though there's still 2 weeks to the game and we potentially would have sold 3000 no problem. Happens all the time, idiots.

Following on from a thread on the uglyinside it would appear the club sent back 1000 tickets and we only took and sold 1300. A quick look on the Leicester website confirms this as they are selling tickets in block M2 which was originally part of Saints allocation.

Why did the ticket office send tickets back with 3 or more weeks to go until the fixture?

For Arsenal we have taken just over 2000 tickets with the statement "This is an initial allocation and subject to demand can be increased" whats the betting we have no intention of taking the extra 1000 tickets ?

Ridiculous. For a club that bends over backwards for away fans at St Mary's (sanctioning Virgin to discount visitors tickets/using the away 'fans' fund to upgrade their concourse!), they certainly couldn't give a **** for our own. So what if they've had their fingers burnt a little on a couple of previous allocations, it's peanuts to them. They were forking out 10,000 quid on those f'kin annoying clackers every home game that most didn't want.

We only had to sell 90% of the remaining 900 tickets so not to have to pay for any unsold, did they really think they wouldn't have sold another 800 tickets in 3 weeks?
