Bednarek showed excellent strength to get ball and then puts it right up the middle to a City player. Footballers really are a bit thick.

    Woeful defending, and 1-0 down.

So easy for City. Probably game over after 9 mins.

Targett, yet again, left to cope with two players. Happened all night long against West Ham too.

People blaming El - when really Targett was far too passive. He closes the ball down far too late and is too negative on the ball most of the time. He will be shown up (as he is always against pacy tricky players) today. However, performance isn't too bad, Austin looks rusty, Hol looking good, Stephens is shaky.

You have to wonder what the manager is thinking putting this team out. Three games with no rotation at all then bung out the reserves against City.

Austin should have at least got a shot in if not scored and Targett needs to hang his head in shame after that defending. You could see Lemina throw his head back in anguish knowing what Targett had just done.

Yes he was. Silva and Mahrez. There was no cover for the full backs in midweek and there wasn’t there either.

How hard is it to track a man , not only that but he keeps showing mahrez on to his left foot, the guy is thick as ****

    when?

I like that he’s taking a hard line with the billy big balls players and I don’t know what has gone on behind closed doors but I absolutely hope freezing out Hoedt, Cedric etc doesn’t come back to haunt us.

Targett so poor for the goal. Had to follow the runner.

He's thinking he made a mistake by not rotating for the WHU match, the time was spent. With two more matches coming up this week, he decided that this was the game to rest the knackered players (Ings, Redmond, Armstrong, etc.). Its probably the right call.

I thought they worked on passing. Stephens straight to a City player.

We must be watching a different game. Mo was nowhere near the ball and Lemina was not picking up either. Regardless, it was also ****e defending in the box too.

Hard to see why RH treats this as a cup game and gives up before a ball is kicked. Stephens, Ward-Prowse, Austin and Targett all starting very poor...

its weird how wrong you are as Targett was not 2-on-1,
why would you say something that clearly is not true

No that is passing! Ballsy by City there but the break and Mahrez misses.

So boring when you’re watching such a disparity in ability between teams!

Despite recent form City are one of the best teams in the world with one of the best managers. We look like a pub team in comparison.
