I think there is a fault with my stream. It showed Shane Long just score a goal.

    That can't be right, surely?

If inot sure if Long’s shot was going in...the keeper’s touch may have deflected it into the net.

You mean the guy who won the penalty and scored a goal? That guy?

I know some of you like Valery, but I'd much rather have Cedric out there. Bertran for Targett too (when he is ready). I think the wings are the weakest position we have right now.

Shane Long and Ward-Prowse with the goals. The two players our fans hate/don't rate.
Think we need to wind-up Maddison to even up the numbers, he's a red card waiting to happen along with Ben Chilwell.

Gonna be a long 49 minutes of football ahead, 10 man bus parking, rearguard action.

Looks like I chose a bad week to give up heroin.

    Park 2 buses second half!

2-0 is the most dangerous lead, especially with only 10 men.

I got a little bit of grief for this in the pre-match thread: "Can't believe the negativity here. I'm excited for the game. Redmond's on fire. JWP stronger, feistier, cleverer than ever. Long's a poor finisher but will still stress their defense. Romeu can be a rock. the back five seem to be improving every game. High press supersmart manager who's had a full week to prepare. Aren't I allowed a little excitement ahead of the game? all the recent clashes w Leicester could have gone either way. I think 1-2 to Saints a strong possibility."

Standing by that scoreline... And definitely my prediction of an exciting game!

****in hell, the second half is going to be horrible to listen to. I'm going out lol

    Wow.

Didn't expect that! Good lad Shane.

2nd half will be interesting..... do we have the mentality, organisation and skill to defend for 45?

    Would Ralph ask us to?

Looking forward to seeing how we set up second half now.

    Haha what a half.

Leicester have been awful, can't string two passes together.

And just when it looked like they had the momentum and an extra player, the unthinkable happen and Mr Prolific snuck in.

Just got to see the game out now, park the bus, dirty tactics, and if possible try and get Chilwell sent off.

Valery has shown massive inexperience in this regard ever since coming into the side. Could cost us the game even at 2-0.

Shame he couldn't get to half time as surely Cedric would have come on. TBH, Cedric should be starting anyway.

Anyway, goal machine Long to the rescue.

So, what do we do second half? Go to a 441 or a 531? The way I see it, you either shuffle Stephens across to RB in a 4 and pull Redmond and Armstrong wider, or you put Cedric in and sacrifice Armstrong or Redmond. I'd probably lean towards the second option and tug off Armstrong.

This is going to be an horrendous second half I fear, defend for our lives. Although would have taken a point beforehand.

Best part is it wasn't even going in.

Gonna need Long massively to chase everything down this second half. Point would've been okay pre-match but would be very disappointing now, even with Valery being a ****wit.

Shot was going to be more like a cross, but the goalie stuck up his hand and deflected it in the net

And that is why Long is so vital.
All the haters moan about him...but ask if you want to play against him....you don’t.
When he played for WBA and you saw him on the team sheet you were not happy.
Always a great player,if you say otherwise you are an idiot.

Poll please - what would you prefer at H/T?

11 men with 1 goal lead?
10 men with 2 goal lead?

    Tough one.

Truth - with our injuries as they are, I very nearly put Long in my Fantasy team this week as I needed a cheap option. Bit gutted now.

Maybe an insurance bet needed here...

Yeah looked that way to me. Long shooting wide with incredible luck the goalie knocks it in. Still, 0-2 is incredible!

Put a cheeky bet on that Saints would go down to ten men in the first half and that JWP and Long would score.

2500000/1, stuck a monkey on it.

Also placed an insurance bet that Leicester win.

    Footballing cliche alert:

Is it more dangerous than 1-0? Why bother scoring the second then?

Is it more dangerous than 2-1? Maybe we should put an og in ASAP?

I know. There was me thinking he was useless, just because he’s been useless for 2.5 years.

Anyway, looks like he MIGHT have missed and it was an o.g.

So, Puel is playing three holding midfielders against us, we're down to 10 men, and we're 2-0 up with Long on the scoresheet.

It really hasn't been Puel's day so far

To be fair Ralph has been training the team to play with 10 men, everytime he fields Mo.

  49. Default

Will play a lot better and not be 2 up at half time. Even before Valery's dismissal we were being overrun in midfield - Romeu is basically on his own. oing to be a long second half.

    I wouldn't feel confident with 12 men and a 3-0 lead
