Wesley in my Fantasy team scores twice then misses penalty. FFS.

A quick look a the table and a win puts us on 10 points tomorrow which isn't too shabby. (Taking the positive view on things today...)

Everton are a shambles. Silva in trouble?

Using some of today's profit to jump on a Silva sacking.

Evertons recruitment has been terrible, but it's a results business and he must be close.

I wonder if they will look at our manager again?

If I was you, I'd put it all on Bayern losing at home today. They cant score with every shot again.

Liverpool are consistently the jammiest fukers around

This.

Just give them the title now and put us out of our misery. They just keep getting decision after decision, it's beyond lucky. I think I hate them and their fans more than anything else on this planet.

Exceptional stuff. 8/10.

I get that but it’s still a different team, in a different place on a different day. We could play any given team at St Mary’s, five Saturdays in a row, and get a different result every game.

Why is every saying this and not how amazing our win at Brighton now looks.

Reckon we would lose every one, that's what we do at home.

Again need to reiterate, 9 of our first 13 games are against last years top 9 teams. Of the remaining 4 against bottom half teams/promoted teams we have played, 3 have been away and one at to Bournemouth, we have won two of the those away games and Burnley away is probably one of the tougher away fixtures in the league generally.

Comparisons to other teams is pointless, we need to see where we are after we have at least played everyone.

Everton 3 Wolves 2 FT

Thought Everton might struggle this season what with significant and key player loses in summer.

But played well and looked more physical than they have done previously. Outplayed Wolves which is not common these days

I know praising Silva is oddly throwned upon on here, but have to admit he keeps delivering

Blimey. How wrong can you be ???

Stick to betting mate. You are sooooo good at that.

This forum is a mess.

Took three years for people to think 'oh actually, Forster isn't very good is he?'

Will be the same for Gunn.

Will be the same for Hojberg.

Mess of a team. Mess of a forum. Mess.

Why aren't you employed at a professional capacity in world football?

what's with the Bin dippers love fest on Sky??

You not had a flick through Sky when there is bugger all on? its like football porn and your kinky perversion is Liverpool!

If you were to be beamed in from outer space you would be forgiven for believing that Liverpool had never every been off the top of the table since the beginning of time

Arsenal were woeful tonight, too many prima donnas strutting around to no effect whatsoever. Tons of possession with no end result, hardly troubled the keeper all night. Absolutely terrible display.

4 points behind Sheff Utd and Burnley at this stage of this season tells you everything you need to know about us. Average teams on paper but they have fantastic workrate and organisation. Something we've lacked for years. We currently dont have any identity in the way we play

And had that been us instead of Sheff Utd, then we would almost certainly have still found a way to lose to them.

Too many times already this season teams have been there for the taking but we have failed to capitalise. Man Utd and Spurs played terribly against us but we only got one point from those games. Wolves on Saturday - take away the disallowed goals and the only thing they created was a penalty from a blatant dive, and we still didn't manage to beat them.

As it stands, I'm not convinced at all that there are three worse teams than us in the league this season.

I don't think that the standard is any better this season, but there just isnt a couple of teams that are just a mess like last season, in Huddersfield and Fulham.

You look at the 3 promoted sides and Sheff Utd have fight and endeavor along with playing some very decent football, which IMO will keep them up. With all the changes at Villa, I thought they'd struggle more at the start of the season, but they've been impressive and can't see them going down, and Norwich who knows...the most likely of the three to go down, but far from a shoe in.

From the other teams towards the bottom last season:

17. Brighton - We only beat them because Andone got sent off - have been quietly impressed with their football, but will be there or thereabouts.

15. Burnley - Already got 12 points, solid and home record will keep them up

14. Bournemouth - Already got 12 points, free flowing attacking football, and have upgraded their CM position to protect their back 4 - won't go down.

13. Newcastle - Poor side, poor manager, big club. Will be involved.

12. Crystal Palace - Already got 14 points, and currently 6th - impressed with them this season.

11. Watford - Poor side, who can't win a game, but have the money and the players to get them out of the position they're in.

Other teams of note currently towards the bottom...

Wolves - too good to go down

Everton - too good to go down

Man Utd - just wanted to put them in here

If you asked me now, I'd say it'll be three from Us, Norwich, Watford, Newcastle and Brighton.
