Krueger & Wilson's Summer Roster Rebuild

Seems clear to me that we are missing a football administrator, i.e a replacement of kinds for Les Reed even if given a slightly different remit.

Currently, aside from the Manager we have:

Ralph Krueger - brought in to grow our presence in North America but inexperienced in football (soccer)

Ross Wilson - Head of Recruitment who has overseen a spell of largely terrible recruitment and almost laughable failed transfer windows.

Does anyone have any real faith that these two will deliver the change that is required to our squad this summer?

I have total trust in RH, I think he gets our shortcomings and knows what is needed to be competitive in the PL.

However, he can suggest and ask for certain things, but ultimately we have two specialists in failure that will be tasked with delivering it.

Would feel more comfortable if we apppointed, shortly, a more experienced football administrator. Krueger suggested there would be some change in thenrecent fans forum - to hit the ground running in the summer it is needed ASAP.

Why does everyone assume their is going to be some sort of spending spree in the summer?

Gao hasn’t invested a penny in the squad so far, I seen nothing to make me think that will change.

we will invest the money we make from Hoedt, Carrillo, Bertrand, Forster and Hoj

and not a penny more

I was going to suggest agents fees, bonuses etc.. but that will obviously come from the Cedric sale....

Won't any money from the sale of Cedric be offset against the cost of Ings? We still have to pay a chunk more than we got back from shipping Gabbi out.

Don't forget, the sales money is spent on transfer fees and player wages, so I would expect no more than 65% of revenue to be spent on incoming transfers.

Unpopular opinion...I don't mind Kruger, he's a bit frustrating at times but he was never brought in to run the football side of the business.

Wilson has been largely useless and not sure how he kept his job when Reed went. Think he might be on his way once we bring in a proper director of football, and he'll be replaced.

We should have minimum £50m + sales to spend in the summer, excluding the Ings money.

Not for me. Krueger is one of the most grating individuals I've ever listened to. The final straw was that interview last January where he succeeded in saying precisely nothing for about an hour.

He gave a weird one at the end of the season as well where he said we should be proud of Sadio Mane playing in a Champions League final. No thanks.

I will be surprised if the main aim in the next transfer window will be any different to the others and that is to make a profit. So, I'd expect the owners to cash in on 1 or 2 of our best players or as they see them, most saleable commodities. The manager will then be allowed to have part of the money from those player sales to build a squad just strong enough to avoid relegation. The law of diminishing returns means that will become even more difficult than it has been. The few players we could get a big fee for are headed by Bertrand, Hojbjerg and Lemina so perm any 2 from 3.

Nah, he grates on me. Stupid phrases, stupid interviews, stupid comments. If he mentions 'space' 'roster' or 'growth oppertunity' again, I will scream.

He is the expert of saying loads without actually saying anything (just annoying americanisms, which mean nothing and are just PR managed words)

What does Nelly say?

She’s to busy to give a toss....eating in fine dining restaurants and travelling the globe.

Just posting the odd picture to prove her tenuous affiliation with SFC.

Strange to think we are a just a commodity to enhance her own portfolio.

Who would’ve thought.

He just doesn't understand football at all which isn't really his fault but his evasive answers and coached manner of speaking is very much his fault.
