He was the last defender, denial of a goal scoring opportunity by clipping the attacker’s heels.

Kevin Friend not refereeing that one then.

Friend would have booked a Saint for diving, made a note in his mind to deny a penalty later and then call one of his friends to rob Hojbjerg’s house because he’ll be out for the next couple of hours.

Leicester playing pretty positively with 10 men. Not sure if this is a good thing or not.

Hope so. Fully expect Burnley to grind them down.

Or not. No winning 2-1. Why don’t West Ham play like **** when they play us. Oh I forgot, they bring in Caroll for his only game of the season to cheat and bully us.

Bloody West Ham. But it's Leicester we need to really worry about. Need one of their manager's stirring team talks at half time. Oh. Brendan.

Leicester not getting anything from this.

There’s going to be quite a few “wtf!?!?” scores from now on in. Hopefully we keep playing well and getting the points we need. This looking over the shoulder thing is no fun at all. ****s like Leicester who spawned a victory at our place, ****ing jammy ****s like West Ham showing up for us and ****ting the bed against Cardiff.

Another good FK, this time for Rondon to put Newcastle 0-1 up against Bournemouth at half time.

McGuire a bit unlucky with the red card. The replay shows it was just a tangle of feet as Gudmondson cut across him. There was no malace or professional foul about it.

Win today and Newcastle are safe IMO. Looks like it’s one of Cardiff, us, Burnley, Palace and BHA.

WHU, such an odious team of ****s.

The penalty we got was a clear pen but boy did Lanzini make a meal of it. He seemed to puck up momentum after hotimg the ground and did a triple twist into double tuck. Nobel’s penalty was a ****ty waist height down the middle. Luckily of him the goalie moved.

Perhaps, but at this stage last season Swansea were 14th so a team can slide right down.

What is the relevance of the West Ham match on our season?

Probably just lamenting that they show up against us and manage to lose to Cardiff and are now ****ting the bed vs Hudds. No doubt they’ll be back to being world beaters when we take them on later in the season.

****ing Mark Hughes. His totally **** start to the season has put us in a needlessly precarious situation. We are miles better than Leicester and Burnley. If only it’d been thanks for keeping us up Mark....welcome RaHa in the summer.

Huddersfield will still need at least 18 points in seven fu cking games.

Like your Lemina paranoid breakdown in the summer, it's not happening sweetheart.

Oliver turns down penalty appeal from Burnley. Didn’t seem to be too much contact but seen them given.
