England to play Euro qualifier at St Mary's in September

Last time he was there (the U23 cup thrashing), he tried to walk round the segregation towards the Saints fans with some of his inbred mates. Before that, he apparently ****ed on the seats in a previous visit.

Others with Skate shirts were allowed in so it wasn't just a shirt issue.

The smelly **** revels in a profile predicated on weird fanaticism and bad behaviour. That's why he wasn't allowed in; and rightly so. And now he's squinnying to the media like a pussyass*****.

Some pubs were asking for ID to make sure you weren't from a PO or BH postcode

They obviously don't appreciate how many saints fans including ST holders live in PO or BH postcodes. Probably not the sort of pubs I'd go in, but in the unlikely event they wanted to check on me I'd go all school mistress and tell them off!;-)

He was chucked out for urinating on the seats at, I think, the midweek cup game years ago but has been back since. He's not actually banned from the ground.

What none of the reports mention is that he was being a right idiot outside, shouting and swearing at Saints fans in front of stewards and generally acting like a ****.

There was barely any trouble last night apart him outside and a few other skates inside putting flags up which the stewards mostly removed.

Just been interviewed on TalkSport Hawksbee and Jacobs claiming discrimination. From the outside, most would probably say we / the FA got this one wrong.

Hopefully the club can salvage some good PR and send him a complementary Sammy Saint teddy to add to his collection, it’s not his fault he got caught short and wet himself at St Mary’s previously.

I bet Talksport didn’t ask him about past incidents and his oddball behaviour.

From the outside world; if this match had been at OT and some idiot had turned up in a Liverpool shirt with the intention of causing trouble with the locals, I'd have expected him to be kicked out too.

I totally agree, but unfortunately that's not what came out in the interview, so my point remains.

So are you saying you would accept his word over that of numerous people who have testified they witnessed him shouting foul-mouthed abuse at Saints fans and generally acting like a total bell end outside the ground?

think thats not what hes saying - more a view on how it looks from outside of the small bubble that is southampton. Most talksport listeners werent there or dont read saintsweb and so if they listen to the interview likely will feel hes been hard done by.

Aaah, OK. Gotcha.

Would have helped if some other people present had called in to Talksport after the interview to put over the other side of the story I suppose.

I can remember him being at St Marys in 2002 for the Macedonia game, i think he was in the middle of the Kingsland stand about halfway up and he made a total spectacle of himself. He was wearing a portsmuff shirt then and numerous other fans started calling him out and in the end the stewards must of told him take the shirt off or we will chuck you out.

He knew exactly what he was doing on Tuesday and 'tried it on' but got the correct response from stewards.

Just like the idiot with the flag, rightly removed for childish provocative behaviour.

It shows how tolerant or how soft we have got , if a Saints fan started the same at FP he would have got a hiding. I doubt years ago he would have dared to so,

He was sat in the Itchen that night with a few others, he kept a low profile early on but then decided to stand up and take his jacket off to reveal his shirt. The stewards jumped on him to make him cover it up but the smug **** just took it off and stood there with his tatts. But he just drew the attention of some Saints lads who went and had a 'word'. After he was held in the concourse surrounded by stewards and OB to stop anyone having a pop and eventually escorted out to a van that pulled up right outside to pick him up.

He probably did the same this time, quietly driven right up to the stadium, he jumps out gets under the CCTV and then starts giving it the big'un by the turnstiles. Then cries like a baby to the media.
