The mcquarrie loan is purely for 'running costs' as tv payments are spread over the season.

Here we go NO its not go do some proper Due Dilligence before you make ill informed comments like that.

I swear some of the people who say stuff like that are chinese plants to through the fans off the truth

your looking at the wrong accounts ...look at the parent company

In the BVI? In Hong Kong? What company?

Post some facts with evidence, if it's public domain information. If it's not public domain information then say more clearly what you are talking about.

Either way, Gao out!

Itchen North started the "Gao out" chants today, towards the end of the game, Not loads of people joining in yet but hopefully it's a start

Not sure the "**** off out of out club you Chinese bastard" chant is such a wise choice mind.

Why not?
Because we will probably be branded brainless, racist, football thugs for making reference to his nationality which will detract from the real issue that we want the **** out of our club.

The we want "we want Gao out" chant works just fine and I was happily singing that loud and proud today.

I feel a bit sorry for him. Kat and her team scoured the earth for a sucker like him. The money he borrowed to pay her came from a bank which is partly owned by the Chinese government. He could be in serious trouble if he can't pay them back.
Hard to feel sorry for a bloke like this. An owner who the PL didn't even want owning a football club

"The Prem board barred Gao in February after obtaining evidence he had twice been involved in corruption cases in China, one of which ended with a senior city politician being executed by lethal injection."

There was a rumour going round when he bought us that he didn’t even know you could be relegated from the premier league. If that’s true then it’s no wonder we are such a mess

Indeed, he gave evidence against the Mayor to save his own bacon, perhaps, if he owes the Chinese govt money and we are relegated he might go the same way. Could this happen? Sounds like something out of a JB movie.

Quite frankly if he didn't know that he had no right buying a football club in the first place.. what a ****

And the stupid woman still chased the deal!!!

There were rumours of KL trying to sell pretty much from the moment her father's will came out of probate, but no real rumours of a buyer until Gao came along. I'd guess that she was desperate to sell from the very beginning (Saints probably being the largest asset in ML's estate) but that she struggled to interest anyone else in paying top of market for a mid-level PL club.

To get Gao out you have to find someone to buy. Who would buy us at present? A club that is fallng into relegation and wth a wage bill that will bring the club to the brink again.

Indeed, anyone interested in the club would probably be wise to wait for relegation and buy us at a knock down price rather than paying top dollar for the club. It's how KL managed to turn a profit, after all.

Our first team is utter sh*t

Our u23s are utter sh*t

We have no one in any position of authority That has a clue about football

We Have made over £70m in profit in the the last two accounting years But have to sell to buy

players

Coaches are utter sh*t

We’ve set record with our worst ever home defeat of all time and worst ever start to the season

An owner they had to change the rules for so someone like him

Couldn’t take over a football club In England again

We’re paying back the loan at £20m a year that this x*nt took out to buy us

Someone please tell me how this club isn’t rotten to the core now.

Err, what's stupid about someone who does not give diddly about football getting a massive profit from a less than savvy investor in the PL - seems to me, she played a blinder! Problem is it doesn't suit our agenda, but then when did the fans ever matter?

Sums it up well.

Seriously, if we blunder on and somehow stay up, it’ll continue while we politely do nothing about it... but if we go down, we might start mobilising and demonstrating our feelings but we’ll be in far worse position as we’ll be significantly more potless and left with absolute dregs of this horrendous playing staff.

No win atm.

Mr Gao, Kat... horrid

Because all the article from her/those around her were about her caring and ensuring the sale would take us forward etc

She lied

I thought you didn't have a problem with lying? Or do you hold football club owners to a higher standard of behaviour than politicians?

Mmmm I'm thinking Kat,Kruger et all. Sold him some B.S spin, He bought us. Kat got £200+M. He had no money to invest, as he used up his credit lines to buy us. I think Kat knew this, but we have scraped through these last 2 years.

Delaying the inevitable = Relegation. And I'm thinking Kats got first refusal, in buying us back. Due to her 20% holding. What is a better way of getting the club back, at a knock down price. And still make a Profit!!

Tide’s turning, patience finally ran out for Goa today, only going to get uglier from here on at SMS.

Good, it’s long overdue. I hear that KL the vulture was at the game, clearly a big profit on selling to someone like Gao wasn’t enough and probably eyeing kicking him out before the parachute payments come on stream if she can find a way of ousting him. I hope they can as nothing good will come from Gao but no trust in her either, she’d probably find a CSI type buyer next. If the Chinese government has backed some of Gao’s borrowings she might get more than she bargained for - that’s what happens when you get muddled up with someone like that.

What a mess. I can’t imagine he was the only buyer around who would have turned a healthy profit.

Do you really think Gao is that naive? The only suckers in this scenario are the fans: KL got to cash out by far the largest asset in her inheritance, and Gao got a secure vehicle for moving cash out of China.

He's done nothing.

He hasn't got any semblance of a plan and has brought no value whatsoever.

He's a crap owner.

What's his vision? Minimum spend necessary to stay up and hope to impress some gullible Chinese tourists. That's about it, I think.

That's Markus' legacy, is it?

Think about it ... would you have borrowed £200m to do this? It makes no sense, and the Chinese have plenty of business sense. There is a bigger and longer-term plan being played, and the waterfront theory seems the best one available.

Oh, I see. Well I now feel pretty silly for my cynical pessimism about a Swiss billionaires daughter liquidating a massive inheritance asset and in so doing burdening my local club with huge interest payments on borrowed monies shuffled swiftly away from a communist system ready to either take over the world or go pop (or indeed both). The only question which remains then, I guess, is whether the mega casino and loosely football themed mega theme park will allow payment in GBP as well as Chinese Yuan.

I bloody love it when a plan comes together.
