Thread: Updates - players out on loan

If he could get his head right, Lemina is better than what we have. But he needs to get it all together - head, heart, stomach, the lot.

Yeah, if he isn't pulling up trees in the Turkish League then he isn't going to in the Premier League. Shame, as on his day he's very good. Just hasn't got the mentality which then brings the consistency.

I'm sure his weekly wage will help mental state.

Honestly, i'm done with these freeloading premier league 'footballers' stealing a living and sucking our money out of the game.
We seem to be attracting these parasites to our club right now and i hate it

It's a delayed injury (if/when he comes back to us).

Lemina wasn’t in the squad for Galatasaray, who lost 1-0 to Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Sims scored for NY then went off injured. He's finishes his season now and will return to saints.

Good news. He could be very useful to us right now.

I highly doubt we'll ever see him play for Saints again.

Is he registered? Could he play? Or would we have to wait until January anyway? Would be nice to have another option if nothing else.

    Celtic just beat Lazio.

Both Saints players started. Forster earned his money that match.

Yes and no. Great save at the end, but he did a Kelvin on Lazio's goal.

But but... Crab Lungs (pro expert) says Forster's Conference level at best.

    Let his stock go up.
Then sell him for a good fee as he will never be a good PL keeper.
Goalkeeping is not just about shotstopping, you need to be calm and command your area, come out to collect crosses and Also play like a sweeper around the penalty area, and Frazer does neither of those things.

Plus until I have seen otherwise he cannot save low to his right or left, yesterday’s save was not that low albeit it was a very good save.

Anyone else chuffed to see Forster do well?

He seems like a nice guy and his decline, whatever the reasons behind the scenes was sad to see.

I never thought he was great, but he was an ok premier league keeper before injury. His best is better than anything I've seen from McCarthy and Gunn anyway.

Looks like he really needed a fresh start and Celtic fans clearly love him. Brilliant save last night.

That was a good save. What I also lilked was how quickly he was up and on his feet again - looking a lot sharper.

He certainly must be glad to be back with his old goalkeeping coach, Stevie Woods.

Good on him, we all know he is capable as he's done it before, but his confidence was shot at Saints, similarly to that of J-Rod after his injury. Could never get enough game time to lift his confidence.

Hopefully he has a great season, he must just be happy to be playing every week.

While Forster is capable of this (see 0.03) he's also capable of (see 0.06). I'll remember and thank him for that night if nothing else.

Moi back on the bench for Celtic tonight after a fairly long absence with injury.

  26. Default Forster's incredible Celtic penalty save record as keeper comes to the rescue again
