Yes.

There should be no place in the Conservatives for closet Socialists like him. He may have been in the party all his adult life and a Conservative MP for decades but he is clearly a Trotskyist sleeper who has infiltrated the party.

Let’s not forget Father of the House Ken Clarke, booted out after 49 years service to the party. Bloody pinko!

Exactly.

There’s no place for extremists like him in the modern Tory party. Complete and utter Little European. Although, fair play to Ken, unlike Grievence, Allen, Wollaston, Stewart and other sopping wet pinkos he was consistent. Voted against a referendum and against triggering A50. We need more honourable people like Ken in politics, just not in our party. Economically, he was sound. But his euro extremism eat him in the end.

When you're having a meeting with someone and you refer to some guests as friends it doesn't mean you condone any crime they may or may not have committed, it's called being diplomatic.

Think you’ve watched goodfellas too many times pal

You do know that Thatcher (I assume you mean her and not May?) is still hugely reviled in this country don’t you?
By some, she did what was needed at the time. The nation couldn't carry on with the Unions ruling the roost. Their extreme power was smothering us. Forget not that Harold Wilson made more miners redundant than she did.

I have never read so much pony in my life.

Clarke. An extremist !! He has voted more often for Brexit than Johnson.

You really live in a strange world.

I voted for Thatcher first time round. It is something I will always regret and I have never voted Tory since. It is one thing sorting out excessive union power, another to turn the country where selfishness became acceptable and it sowed the seeds for the insular, inward looking country we are today.

I suggest Blair helped that more so. Giving banks free reign to administer themselves rather than the BOE

I am happy to condemn both. But is it really actual hatred of Jewish people or is it support of the Palestinians?
That's you not condemning both is it? That's you giving up on your bullsh it what-about-the-Tories defence and moving on to a new defense of no no no it's not really happening.

The constant denial of the issue and by extension calling the victims liars is the most sickening thing about this issue. Well done.

What are you talking about? You are just trying to cause an argument where there is none. I don’t condone anti-Semitism in any shape or form. If you want me to say that the Labour leadership haven’t done enough to deal with the issue within their party, then yes, they clearly haven’t.

Being that literally anything I say you'll be straight back posting a "debunking" by some slavering idiot from The Canary or Sqwarkbox I don't think I'll bother.

Magic Grandpa can do no wrong, it's all the mainstream media, we get it.

I don't think that in any way.

I do think he is pitifully useless cretin who is pretty much guaranteeing 15 years of Tory rule over this country.

I want a Labour success in this poll because I want the Conservatives out and, if possible Brexit stopped. With any mildly competent leader of the opposition I would be pretty confident in that happening. With this idiot, not so much.

"I won't vote for him because he's unelectable."

"Well if you vote for him he won't be then will he."

Don’t beat around the bush C.B., tell us what you really think!

No matter what you think of Corbyn, he has the same problem as Johnson. How do you deal with the different views on Brexit within your party. You think that Corbyn is a cretin and I think that Johnson is a cretin, but neither of them have been able to prevent the fractures in their parties caused by Brexit. In fact it is hard to think of any politician with the clout to be able to find a way forward and unite their party or the country.

I think they're both cretins, so why vote for either in that situation?

The problem with Corbyn is that it's allowed the membership of the party to go hard left, when really they should have their own party altogether. Keir Starmer would do a cracking job in getting rid of the extreme left, whilst winning back membership from the centre.

Boris has dealt with his. Every single Tory voted for his deal, and every single Tory returned will do so again. Corbyn cant unite his party because he’s a Leaver & 80% of them are Remainers.

One of them will be PM come December so we need to vote for the policies we want even if we don’t like the party leader. Agree with you about Keir Starmer. He was in charge of the CPS when I was there. I sat in a couple of meetings with him and he listens a lot and talks only when he has a question or something worth adding to the discussion - not your usual politician.

On this I am in complete agreement with you. Should you be worried? ;)

In my view this is the great tragedy of the past few years, the lack of a credible opposition to these out-of-control freaks.

If I recall the relaxation of banking regulations occurred under Thatcher (and Reagan in the US). Blair gave the BoE the ability to set interest rates independently but not sure he deregulated any more than Thatcher did - could be wrong though.

Most of the changes that created the environment that permitted the financial crash were, indeed, enacted in the mid 1980s.

There's a Labour Doris called "Rebecca" on Radio5 who's finally admitted there's a big cost to nationalising things, although she doesn't know what it is.

Also wants to spend £60bn on a programme to allow people to upgrade energy efficient in their homes. [incidentally, something similar was tried as "Green Deal" previously around 2012 but didn't work as the economics didn't stack up.]

Sound like Rebecca Wrong-Daily. According to some reports she’s Jezza’s chosen successor. She’s pretty fit, but spouts nonsense in a strange accent.

Rebecca Wrong-Daily also turned up on Ridge, where she was asked about Boris’ claim that a vote for Corbyn will lead to another referendum. No it’s not claims the bimbo, “we are going to renegotiate a deal then put it to the people”. Ridge baffled, “isn’t that a referendum “ to which Wrong-Daily replied “its sort of a referendum “.

Seriously, people are going to vote for these clowns?

Wrong-Daily as business secretary

Abbott as Home Secretary

John M (sacked from economic brief by Livingstone for being too left wing) as chancellor

And to think the same people voting for these half wits, are the ones banging on about the risks of no deal Brexit.

Christ, they want to expropriate ten percent of the shares of companies as well.

If people think Brexit will be damaging, they ain't seen nothing yet if Crazy Corbyn and Mad McDonnell get in.

Isn't that similar to Waitrose and other companies where workers get a cut of the profits?

Unlike the posh blokes who get rid of 20,000 experienced police officers. Then promise to recruit 20,000 more. So smart and in no way wasting millions

And privatise the probation service against all sensible advice then bring back to be publicly run but hey no one cares cos they are smart posh boys right?

These geniuses spunk money so easily but hey a plum in your mouth easily mistaken for clever and trustworthy.

Btw Farage slagging off the Brexit deal this morning. Which cult are you currently in?
