He’s got to shift to a 4 at the back and give us more ability to get hold of the ball.
    This is suicidal

This is a ****ing pathetic performance. We are making them look world class.

Problem is in the middle today. Ball always lands at an Everton player. Everyone then just retreats.

Could easily have been 0-4 by now. Saints really do look like odds on for relegation at the moment.

Dave Watson's coaching for set pieces is as good as his coaching of our goalkeepers was.

You have to admit both Dave and Kelvin are loyal. They haven't left us for Liverpool, Tottenham or even Bayern Munich.

    Not a single proper attack.

Get Adams on for Redmond. He might at least help us get some field position.

Still no shots on goal, and no indication that we will even get close.

    Pathetic.

The whole club from too to bottom are the most insincere, pompous sh1t-talkers in the entirety of football.

A pathetic, flaky, wispy, gutless amoebic group of sh1tehawks.

    They’re disgustingly disgraceful.

Why not and let the players coach themselves and save another wage.

We're playing the same tactics as we did at Man City. Pull everyone back and hope for a narrow defeat. We're not stupid: we learned from the 9-0 home defeat.

Don't, worry, we will go down, we are awful all across the park. Not only that, but only two weeks ago the club came out and said that were are sticking with Ralph anyway.

We’ve needed a leader since we needlessly shipped Fonte out. Current team has zero bottle and zero leadership. Pathetic

I've defended him for years, but I utterly fail to see what contribution JWP ever makes in open play. He's just sooo weak and ineffective.

We might as well stick a crash test dummy out there in a number 16 shirt.

Sack Ralph and get Adkins in.
At least we’d try and play not cower in our box against a poor Everton team

A traffic cone placed in the centre circle would do more.

And while Iím at it... what a gutless group of players we have. No real accountability, just empty platitudes and generic fist pumping. I genuinely dislike most of them. A truly crunch game and we get served up this.

Getting bossed by every team on your own patch... pathetic.

At least it's allowed Fonte to end his career with some dignity, winning another major trophy with Portugal and leading his Lille team into the Champions League.

The 2005 team was much better. At least they scored goals.

If it's any consolation to anyone, I've just looked on their forum and they are, to a man, utterly convinced they will pay for not scoring more and end up not winning.

Wouldn’t miss a single member of our current crop. Maybe Ings and Djenepo but the rest aren’t fit to wear the shirt. Hot garbage.

Only difference from Leicester is Everton's finishing.

Something majorly wrong, and it's not just poor players/tactics, the gulf isn't that big and they've competed before. They look terrified to touch the ball, like a 3-0 defeat would be a good result. Not one of them seems happy to be playing at home. It's low energy, sitting back deep, no one wants time on the ball.

Something has to change. Didn't want it to be the manager but it's clearly going badly. This performance is utterly pathetic. And the wing back selection is just ridiculous.

Im right footed and old, played indoor last night and I can use my left more effectively than Cedric, it’s so predictable that he’ll shift it to the right. He’s supposed to be a pro.

This first half as bad as the Spurs game last season, should have been dead and buried at half time. Hoping for same 2nd half response. Doesn't look likely though

Another problem is that Djenepo is having to cover for him all the time, making him less effective as an attacking force. Whenever JWP plays you need another player who is fast enough to actually reach the ball to cover for him. The same applies to Vestergaard in defence.

The home crowd were well up for it at that match though. 12th man definitely helped imo.

I checked about 5 mins in & we'd had 75% posession with 0 shots & they'd had about 4 shots by that time.

If Ralph has anything about him, he will make a change to the side that sees us drastically improve after HT
