I watched the bit on soccer Saturday and noticed one of the PST called it a "hybrid bid" . Has anyone heard them use this expression before , because I've only ever heard them talk of fan ownership. They seem to be moving towards accepting that its a few rich people using fans money, rather than a fan owenership. I thought that turn of phrase was very telling.

Two flaws in that argument:

1) The best deal that PKF could strike for the creditors would be to negotiate a separate sale of the ground for the higher price, with a covenant to rent it to PFC2013 for five years at a reasonable rent. They could then sell the 'club' to the Trust for a nominal amount, meaning they wouldn't need the council loan. The Trust then get the Golden Share and everyone's a winner.

2) They won't be seeing the parachute payments anyway. They're going to the football creditors.

Re 2: but do they not argue that without a golden share there is no club, so the remaining PPs won't be send towards PFC - or in this case the footballing creditors? They will instead be divided amongst the PL clubs...

But under (1), the club survives and gets the Golden Share. The PPs will probably be diverted to football creditors (like the first year's payments) if this happens. Either way, don't think they'll see the money.

See @CarlSpangled who also happens to run @sospompey and is chief banner maker and player doorsteper has just called @1jamesbeattie a 'fat scum ****' - this fan ownership is going to be a classy affair isn't it.

But , classy picture posted by Beattie - one of my all time favorite pictures of a Saints player

I went down to Cornwall Friday to see my dad who was 80 for a family get together, so we all went out for a meal in the evening, however later in the evening there was a couple there celebration her 50th, anyway we got talking and found out that he had travelled down that day from Pompey,

so i jokingly said you don't support Pompey do you, to which he replied its worse than that i used to play for them, so i asked him what he thought of the trust bid, his reply was, they haven't got any spare money to buy players let alone pay them, (never stopped them in the past though has it), so even he thinks they are dead ducks, Dont ask me for his name as i will not give it out,

so there you go an ex Pompey players view on the Trust bid,

Don't they have anyone else to pick up the #factlessallen baton in his absence?

What next? The BBC deferring news about the breakout of World War 3 because Kate Adie is on a two week break in the Balearics? :)

#pompey administrators PKF release latest report to creditors'. Total cost of the administration so far 17 Feb-2 Jan is: £2,164,089.65.

Nabil Hassan ‏@NabilHassan79

Important to note the administrators may not claim the full amount & the creditors' committee will have a say in how much is actually paid.

I like how he did it twice, shows persistence and the type of pride in the shirt skates are always banging on about. He is thinking "i'm going to hit this guy in the knob".... "oh sh!t, just missed, now he is guarding it".... "hang on, there is an opening, yes! Get in, right in the babymaker!"

After the second punch he steps back and holds his hands out in a "what am I supposed to have done wrong" type stance...

What a ****ing weirdo.

It's only an "alleged punch" according to The News...

http://m.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/defender-s-pompey-future-in-balance-1-4823773

The Blues centre-back was sent off for an alleged punch during an altercation with Oldham’s Lee Barnard early in the second half of Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Boundary Park.

The settlement is detailed in the progress report issued by PKF in January! And it actually dates back to before August 2012...

Not exactly breaking news...

However, a spokesman for PKF said: ‘We had to go to the court in January because it was the one year anniversary of the club being in administration on February 17, so we had to ask for an extension.

‘The extension started on February 17, so takes us through to August 17, but we’re not expecting the administration to last that long. Really !!!!!!

Now here's a thought........ You sign a months contract with the fishy few , you get a red card and banned for 3 games and \Guy states he may rip up your contract . Nice , but if I was a player and in my mind was if I get sent off I will lose me contract don't think I would be making a tackle to much ... You just couldn't make it up

‘For the ten-and-half month period to January 2, these are 7,295 hours and £2.16m respectively.

Nice hourly rate there Trev - keep it going me old boy

And they've been working another two months since then, with probably another two months to go. Maybe they're working for free from now on?
