I didn't mind the idea of it, but the kits were average at best. Hated the first one, loved the red sleeve one. Probably most don't give a shit, but if you do have a view on kits, I would guess that most would prefer a non-stock kit, I was just ahead of the curve in the late 80's. For several years I've had this vision of a combined sash and stripes home kit.
