TBF Tonda can hardly say ‘yeah, he’s a lazy fat layabout’ even if he thinks it. The likes of Redknapp used to but only after a long career. Not at the start they didn’t. 1

I thought he was injured when he came on. It could be in his contract that he must play a certain amount of games. Edited Tuesday at 18:28 by die Mannyschaft
IOWSaintDaz Posted Tuesday at 18:34 Posted Tuesday at 18:34 Just hope he pisses off in January, wages must be costing us a packet which would be better spent on someone who will put a proper shift in 2
pingpong Posted Wednesday at 07:10 Posted Wednesday at 07:10 Usually I'm blinkered about our players, while they are here, and blindly optimistic. As an example, I still think downs needs minutes. I like Stephens. I thought Mara was ok. I wanted Carrillo to have more of a chance. I thought dia showed flashes of skill. Baz is in my top eight all time saints keepers. Even I can see aribo has been hopeless. What is his top speed? I don't think we know, because his acceleration is so slow that he never gets there. He needs a hundred yards to gather momentum and as such, just lopes around and watches players run past and away from him. I always consider it game over when he comes on. He's like the antichrist. Or the Antiscienza. 1 2
swannymere Posted Wednesday at 11:27 Posted Wednesday at 11:27 (edited) It is a real shame as he's shown he's a good player on the rare occasion, so is it just consistency or laziness or indeed both? Edited Wednesday at 11:31 by swannymere 1

Toussaint Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Shockingly terrible again today. Looks like he’s finished, embarrassing. 3
S-Clarke Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Yeah he wasn't very good, we lost the entire control of that midfield once Jander went off and he came on. He was awful. That tackle by the way - red card worthy, no idea wtf he was doing. He's so off the pace it's unreal.
ErwinK1961 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Feels like he’s been bought back in purely because he’s getting paid a meaty salary so we want something for our money. But it’s time to just pay him off and be done with it. The fact he wears number 7 adds more insult. He doesn’t want to be here, we don’t want him. See ya.
Turkish Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago It’s a shame about Aribo. When he joined I was quite excited. He was highly rated had been good at Rangers and started off pretty well but never really did much with us. Always thought he was better than given credit for but probably best for everyone he leaves and probably should have gone 18 months ago
AlexLaw76 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago He looks lost when playing further forward. How we now play is stretching teams and running/passing into space etc Aribo is very much a player who wants it to feet. Him coming on further forward seems to allow their defence to step up that little bit.
Fabrice29 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago The very definition of a player who needs a run of games to get rhythm but there’s no way he deserves that here. Uncomfortable with the talk about his attitude though, it’s lazy. He’s clearly just lost all rhythm and his qualities do not lend themselves to being a sub at all 🤣

He then appeared to chase it recklessly and go in for a challenge. At the time expected a red card to come out.

I do think he's past his best too and should be moved on gracefully. He has been a decent squad player but not any more.
