“Breaking news: It has been revealed the only reason the Police statement painting Henry Nowak as the aggressor did not go out is because they were warned by both the family and their legal team that this could prejudice the trial”

So there was an intended cover up.  But the CPS and judges stopped it. Absolutely sickening.

Not exactly, I think it was more the CPS saying "Just don't say anything" ;

https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/26172590.police-considered-disinformation-statement-henry-nowak-trial/?callback=in&code=NZCXYJU5YJGTYJJHOC0ZNDVMLTGZMMYTMJE4Y2Y2YTKWNZCZ&state=01e2e24bc9dd4ad7921e7712ef926086

"Hampshire police considered issuing a statement warning against disinformation during the trial of Henry Nowak’s killer, it has been revealed.

The county force has said a “significant” amount of misinformation and disinformation was being posted online, including requests to share information relating to the case before it had been examined in the trial.

Police were warned by the Crown Prosecution Service that protecting the “integrity” of the Southampton Crown Court jury trial of 23-year-old Vickrum Digwa “was essential” and ultimately police did not issue a statement. "

Good times

Reporting on this is very nuanced: the Telegraph says "The UK’s overall debt levels are healthier than those of other large countries such as France and the US, ".

FFS mate, you get excited about all sorts.

A British woman living in Britain isn't news. That she's been separated from the loon for 16 years shouldn't be either. That he's not living here and burnt his passport is the bit that matters.

I think I've hit the point where I don't care about the genuine cases of asylum or the people who really want to come here and better their lives - it's not worth it if it means importing this kind of shit as well. I'd rather just say no to everyone.

Too late I’m afraid. The people who stood by and applauded accusing everyone who disagreed with them were racist for what they wanted

You, and countless others, should have held this view years ago. We all could see what was happening on mainland Europe, yet so many dismissed it and called others racist.

This country is gone. No one in the political class has the will to do anything meaningful about immigration. Yeah, sure, someone will post in a sec about how the migration figures are dropping (net migration that is) but it is too little far too late.

what is more remarkable is how so many don’t even want borders at all, or support the stance the Green Party have, madness.

Anyway, Good news, more of these nutters/doctors coming to a HMO near you!!!!

Well that's the issue isn't it. There was time to put something else in place and we wasted it with those ridiculous arguments over whether it was racist or not to be concerned about immigration. Now we've hit the point where the only solution is something extreme, which is where the likes of Reform get their popularity.

I've been against mass immigration and called a racist for it for a long time mate believe me, however I still saw the value in controlled immigration.

Now i'm at the point where I think we should just shut the borders down, immediately deport everyone awaiting a refugee or asylum claim regardless of consequences and then just operate a strictly one in one out process, with the ones in being strictly vetted.

Jesus, even Australia's system is more strict and they're letting in too many.

The country is paralysed to do anything meaningful, the will is no where near Labour or Conservative (no matter what they say).

This bloke should be immediately deported. The family of the Nowak killer should be deported. Of course, nothing of the sort will happen, or even be suggested

This is the sad part

By ignoring the obvious problems and calling everyone far-right, they have made the situation 100x worse.

I’d argue that racism was almost extinct in this country in the early 00s. The impact of immigration barely crossed my mind.

But now it’s all going to get more divided than ever because the politicians are too scared to do basic, common sense things. And it’s led to horrific crimes happening every single day

Obviously, we all should be petrified with beheadings being a daily occurrence on British streets. Am I safe even putting out the bins on Thursday morning ?

Depends when your bins are picked up. Sometimes, the council start trimming trees really early, so that could be a risk.

Indeed. Anyone that comes from a country on the UK governments red list of places not to go should not be allowed into the UK. It should be common sense but it’s easier to call people racist and attack people that speak up.

Glib or superior replies to people rightly outraged about someone having his eyes stabbed and head attempted to be removed, by the latest knife attacker who shouldn’t be living in this country, on a thread called “what is wrong with our country”

Strange people.

Agree that if the asylum and immigration systems aren’t sorted out very fast, then this cycle of barbaric attacks, followed by riots, followed by more division, will just get worse.

The practical issue with that beyond legal immigration which all bar the absolute headbangers admit we need, is that we are an ageing population and the balance of those paying in and taking out e.g. triple lock benefits (40% of the welfare bill) for the oldies are a huge cost, it’s not just working age and mental health. Legal migration to prop up our health, social care and clinical sciences/civil Eng will get us so far this decade but the need will probably go beyond that.
If people want to only have legal/economic migration to specific roles, then that means UK citizens taking a lot less from welfare especially pensioners. Given the hysteria around winter fuel allowance, I don’t fancy your chances of politicians of any stripe dealing with the practical impact. Our generation won’t get any form of state pension top up without an injection of younger workers paying in. Reform want to push up birth rates but that’s a generation away and more of adjusted property prices, land and much increased job security so people feel secure to begin families.

At least when the UK is forced to enter into some sort of defensive military action in the future, there will be thousands of young bucks willing to volunteer to transfer their pent up aggression to defend this green and pleasant land against nasty foreigners.

The lefties will be front of the queue wont they? They were quick enough to take to the street chanting "not my prime minister" When Boris was at the wheel, surely they'll be backing their man when he makes them go to war.
