Another chance for them to sing Theirry Henry’s name all match so everyone forgets they got absolutely battered and focuses on them being the bestest fans in all the land.

Just a publicity shot for TCWAB to gormlessly shake his bell 🛎 end on national tv when they’re losing 4-0

Fuck that, too far north.

In the old days could justify it in that the women were easy

Considering I live here Huddersfield it’s not bad!

Blimey Donny away, way too North for the likes of us, especially in January.

Keepmoat is around 15,000 I think. 20% is 3000, but bet we don't get that.

Let’s hope no pictures of trains are handed over during this visit to Doncaster.

Get with it Gloucester.

All aboard the Tonda Express, full steam ahead, stopping nowhere ….

Promotion, FA Cup …. It’s in the stars*. That and skates and Bath Rugby falling off the face of the earth…

*not saying we’ll manage either but it’s probably in the stars somewhere if you know where to look.

That was one of the most cringiest things I’ve ever seen a fan base do. Getting stuffed so decided to tug themselves silly over Henry to take the attention away from the result. Embarrassing carry on

Good draw , not played up there since 2011 so will make a nice change, ground is a bit dull out of town with not much around it when we last went but plenty of pubs in town and a short taxi ride to the ground

The last time Pompey beat Arsenal was 68 years ago. This will be their 23rd attempt since then.

That doesn’t matter, they’ll be the bestest regardless. Can almost guarantee a pissed up interview from Westwood pre game , or a visit from the bbc to his bookstore in the days leading up to the game for an interview about his background. Fucking tedious and tinpot

They haven't won any of their last 30 games against Chelsea, although their last win was only 66 years ago. So, that's more than 50 games over seven decades without a win against either Arsenal or Chelsea. No wonder the London clubs love playing there.

Meanwhile, the TV pundits will be coming out with all the usual cliches, like, "This is a difficult place to win at". Yes, it is......for Portsmouth.

This one’s personal for me.  Never forgiven Doncaster for knocking us out of the English Schools Trophy in 1985 - quarter finals, second replay.  They went on to win it, which should have been us.

Fucking hammer the wankers.

Yes down the road, well nearly 3 hours, but Manchester is 2.5 hours away, but a new ground. If they keep it on Saturday or Sunday!

Not in I might add. Put it this way, I ran out of wine at the end of August.

Apparently Arsenal have got a young lad that’s made their squad this season who could well feature if they ring the changes. The skates will absolutely love this guy.

His name?…

Donny. Excellent. It's been a while since we've been to the Keepmoat. Preferred going to Belle Vue, but it will be great to play up there again. How many tickets will we get?

I think Palace got just over 3k last season but didn't sell out, would imagine we'd get the same

a Saturday 3pm game would be nice. Can't imagine TV will be interested in us, so a distinct possibility.

Some great ties to be fair

Grimsby vs Weston Super Mare made me chuckle, bet the Weston boys were dreaming of Anfield or Old Trafford

Winnable match for the Seagulls.  Good revenue stream as well as the 'seaside' derby is bound to be on TV.  Win, win.

Winnable perhaps but terrible revenue in the context of "look what you could have won". Share of gate receipts at Anfield close to £1M , share of gate receipts at Grimsby more like £100k.

Main TV picks will be

Macclesfield v Crystal Palace

Skates v Arsenal

Derby v Leeds

And probably Liverpool, Man Utd and Man City, Spurs v Villa as well.

There's always a few that then move for international tv coverage,  I never quite understand that as international not impacted by 3pm black out so frustrates me they move the kick off times

Posted

Last couple of years they have spread them out across multiple TV slots. So where our game seems a fairly mundane 3pm non televised tie it might get shunted anyway to Sunday 2pm or whatever just because.

Happy with this, personally. Only a short train ride for me and I didn't get to go there when we were down in L1 with them.

Should be a guaranteed win as long as we take it seriously and don't just play the U21s. They're not doing that well in L1 this season. Just 3 places above the relegation zone. They're at home to Stockport tonight so I'll have that on in the background while watching Saints v WBA.

I think both times we played there were in the championship, on way down in 08/09 and on our way back in 11/12 , a young Billy Sharp impressed for them and signed for us shortly afterwards in Jan 2012 he's about to turn 40 years old and still scoring for them, hope he gets to play against us one more time
