Clubs sniffing round JWP isn't new news. Liverpool enquired earlier in the window, firm not for sale signs are up. £100m + before talks even start.

If he couldn't get premier League was always going to be a club in the champions League, though he wanted to stay in premier League. That didn't happen as clubs wouldn't pay (high) loan fee and/or commitment to buy at and of season. Personally terms were agreed with one but clubs couldn't agree.

Europe was always the backup, lots of interest, but wanted CL football and gala covering wages. Not a commitment to buy, but he's a talented footballer so here's hoping he shines.

Personally wanted another season out of him, but premier league clubs turned his head and then there was no turning back. Saints allowed him to talk to others, couldn't agree fees, and then he was off the Ralph train.

Usual friend who is close. Mario joined saints intending to use as a stepping stone up the premier League, understood from both sides in 2/3 seasons. He was willing/happy to put in another season - a full season under RH, but enquiries were made so he requested (unofficially) for saints to honour the step up. Ralph obliged.

Man U are only enquiring at the moment, sounding out price, no offer made. Arsenal have made an offer that was rejected but negotiations continue.

Couple of clubs from Europe also enquiring but he wants to play PL. If offer isn't good enough from PL then Europe and champions League it is.

He was called offside in the first half, and I was sat directly in line with him when the ball was played over the top (I think from Hammond) - the lino got it wrong, he was onside and would have been clean through.

Usually wager between 20 and 100 on us winning each game, which pleasingly is doing me well this season - making up for massive losses last season. (Though I did lose 300 on the draw with Norwich).

No money on promotion, i'd love it, but I think and have done since the start of the season we will just miss out.

Also got a 100 bet with a mate we finish higher than MK Dons (and he stupidly is dis-regarding the -10 points). Easy money.

Just throwing my name in the mix (realise i'm not a regular poster - well, not a poster at all really, just an avid reader daily at work), have played twice for footballaid at St Mary's but couldn't this year so would definately be up for this if you need more numbers. Wouldn't want to take the place of a regular member, but if you need more numbers count me in.

Could also bring a long a large group of fans for the game who'd be happy to pay to watch (more money for the club).
