The Amex is a magnificent piece of architecture in an area of outstanding beauty, yours is a tinpot lego ground on a ****y industrial estate.

Aye, as long as that blue lot dont join in!!
Agree there.
-
Good times for the South Coast. How'd have bet we'd be in the 1st and 2nd positions going into the international break, eh?
Crazy really. Long may it continue can only be good for the south coast
-
Thankyou. Poyet is doing a fab job I agree.
As is Adkins doing a good job for you, heard you were unlucky to lose today but still think you will finish top six come end of season
-
Ur doing fab mate. I think its great that youre doing so well. However, what was the score last time we played you lol?
Thats all in the past and fair play to you for beaten us.
-
Will be interesting to see how he does when Brighton play some decent teams, they've not really had any real tests so far.
By all accounts we've had a pretty tough start on paper.
To be honest i think blackpool and cardiff are decent teams and were tough tests.
Can someone please ask Mr Adkins if we are keeping up?
-
Are we keeping up?
-
Your deluded if you think that.
-
Only 6000 at home such a poor effort for such a big team.
-
Thought their ground looked good yesterday. Shame it's so small and cost about 3 or 4 times what ours did to build.
Yes its really small.

Gus Poyet
:adore:

Yeah they were. They were pretty sh1te for the 2 months before they played us as well, barely scraping past most of the bottom half by a single goal to compile that daft 12-match winning streak. They did most of the hard work prior to February and the rot had set in long before they actually lost a match.
Lucky for them they'd played the top teams when they were in form and could scrape through the other matches using their time-wasting spoiler tactics if they got in front.
Still harping on about this months later, your so sad.

May as well put it in this thread...
Was looking at the "vs top half" (http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D2/vtophalf.html) and "vs bottom half" (http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D2/vbothalf.html) on the footy365 stats pages.
Interesting to see that versus the top half teams, Brighton are some distance behind Saints and Huddersfield on Points per Game. It is their (admittedly excellent) record versus the lower half teams that has put them top of the table. Suggests to me that whilst they are comfortable against poorer opposition, they will struggle to make the step up when playing better quality teams every week.
Indeed, Saints and Bompey have each taken 4 points off them this season, and Huddersfield took all 6...
Just goes to show what a load of drizzle you played against the poorer teams then, must be a bit of an embarrassement for the mighty saints with so much money, top quality players and still only finish second to an average team like Brighton with no money.
-
Advantage?!!! Ffs gus, we didn't want our games postponed. We had free weeks, dropped out of second, had tonplay catch up and lost a couple of games in hand when played midweek. No-one did us any favours. Get over it.
Think Gus is well over it! Its called a big wooden spoon.
-
You got saved by the fixture computer - look how Bournemouth went off the rails once we were done with them. If if we'd played you in March you'd have been desperately trying to scrape into the playoffs.
Totally irelevant really. Pointless statement
-
Brighton are falling over the line like the overachieving bunch of third raters they really are. When the music stops Saturday and they crawl from the field off the back of yet another defeat we will be just 2 points behind. That is why Poyet is flailing around for excuses. Because his team is ****.
If thats the case then, just think if you had beaten us at your place you could of been champions. Guess you were just not good enough.
-
Very true. After playing and losing to us and Huddersfield they'll now be questioning just how good they really are. That's why Poyet is so rattled because he knows that the confidence is being knocked out of them. They also drew against Colchester in the game before this. Also Brighton fans seem to think they are a big club now they've got their new ground (which incidentally isn't very big) and if they start next season badly I expect the boo boys will be out in force further knocking the confidence of their average players.
Average players that won the league.
-
Not seen you live at home, but at our place you were a bunch of cheating (u nt s!!!! A very very poor referee let you get away with all sorts of nasty niggly stuff both on & off the ball.
As for the ball boy stuff - why have so many other managers & teams moaned about you then?? Are they all bad losers?
I actually think you lot have such an issue with us you will roll over for Hudders.............That will confirm your cheats!!!!!
Get over it!

And a years subscription to Arsebandit Weekly for each member of the Brighton squad.
You should of been a comedian, how original, wouldnt expect anything else.
-
We drew 1-1 away with Charlton
I stand corrected
-
Congratulations, you beat Daggers 4-3 at home and Swindon 2-1. Teams we beat 4-0 and 4-1 respectively.
You will play open football and try to beat us, no question. Over this season teams that have done that against us have been beaten convincingly - Huddersfield at home, Oldham away, Bournemouth home and away, Posh and Blackpool.
The games we really struggle in are home (and a few away) games where the teams come and 'Park the bus' - Rovers on Saturday, Notts County, Walsall, Brentford and, dare I say it, Brighton. We tend to get frustrated and vulnerable, but thankfully on Saturday we stayed tight, kept at it and got our just rewards.
The only sure thing about Saturday's match is that it will be a cracker!
Then again you drew away to peterborough lost away to charlton where we destroyed both these teams away 3-0 and 4-0 respectively. You have lost me to what point you are trying to get over or even prove if any.
Like you said saturday should be a cracker.

If you are bored with Saints' fans opinions on Brighton then I suggest you stop posting on here. Why so irritable? Nervous ahead of your cup final?
Cup final your having a laugh thought it was yours, our season done and dusted nothing really to play for now.
-
I'm really not that nervous about this at all.
We were far better than them in the match at SMS and they have recently been shipping goals to crap teams and will be missing their best defender. I expect us to score at least two, assuming we turn up. Only some heroics from their centre backs, a shocking miss from Lambert and the failure of the ref to give us a clear penalty stopped us stuffing them at SMS. They are clearly in "Party mode" and haven't played a decent team for a while.
Change the record getting rather boring now. Whos this decent team then? Shipping goals maybe but if you hadnt noticed still winning though.

OK thanks for that BHA Mate n I don't want to pass judgement on the last bit but will be looking forward to be visiting your new ground though BHA If we do go up which I think we will because of our GD ahead of Huddersfield but we will see!
Hope you do go up automatically, Southampton dont belong in this division.
