Ballard has had a rough time of it. In 2023-24 he went to Reading and had a decent start before getting a season-ending injury. He then went to Blackpool at the start of this season and injured his shoulder, eventually being recalled and sent to Cambridge in January. It may be true that he’s unable to make the step up to senior football for us, but send him out on loan to League One again in 2025-26 for a full season and we’ll have a much clearer picture as long as no more injuries occur.

Well that won't work as his contract is up at the end of the 2026 season and he has stated he needs to see a pathway.

And let's be honest, he cannot be any worse than Onachu or Archer

  2. What another shit manager, totally wedded to one formation not suited to the players.

What is it, 9 games and 7 defeats?

Please do not go into next season with this idiot in charge

Justin Bijlow has said his goodbyes to Feyenoord and had his medical today and we now have news of a striker bid.

Unfortunately the striker link is underwhelming to say the least.  Just Luke when SR took over it seems like we are bring used as a guinea pig to try out untested ideas and approaches.

Long season but understandably people are uncomfortable with what has transpired so far.

    Definitely hairier though..

There is no pathway any longer at saints.  Unless you play for someone else's Academy.

Dibling looked the real deal only to be dropped with Edozie coming in ( who has shown very little).

I really don't blame the youngsters.  Go to another club and earn far more money and maybe have more of a pathway

  6. Whilst I'm genuinely sorry to hear that, people need to wake up to what this is. The leaked report last night said that the best case scenario would be 250,000 deaths. Quarter of a million, if we're lucky. If we're unlucky, feck knows how many. This ain't flu - drastic means / drastic measures.
Sorry this is utter horse****e. This is worst case scenario. Get a grip.

I am just starting (hopefully) to get over this horrid virus and while obviously dangerous for the old and people who have medical conditions for most it is an annoyance.

And yes, flu and cancer kill far more people than this virus. It is virulent and aggressive but some context is needed.

The hysteria both sides of the pond is getting ridiculous.

  7. The present owner has been such a useless flop that I feel almost anyone is sure to be better. I hope it is not a person with betting money but there is hardly anyone I would be unhappy with, after the last few years. I would even welcome Lowe. Perhaps Mike Channon will steer a racing type our way, Maybe that Dubai fellow.
That Dubai fellow that is an absolute scumbag you mean? Sheikh maktoum or something. Oh yeah that would be wonderful.......

  9. My mate saw him in a cafe there last weekend as well. Said he "should" be fit for the Brighton game.
Yeah until he trips on a blade of grass and does his hammy again
