I remember being told how S Road used to be full of houses! Your Grandfather wouldn't recognise the place now, it's essentially a really long industrial estate now, full of various factories and car showrooms etc. I had no idea there was a tie between the two cities until you guys told me, just generally quite liked Southampton as a club - fair to say this new information has only strengthened that! Thanks for the other responses chaps, I look forward to (hopefully) playing against you lot next season again, and also a special thanks for whipping the other red and white team down the road.

I like your club and those associated with it, always wish them well. Created an account last year to see your opinions on Koeman moving to Everton and was met with warm responses. Is that true? I never knew. I work on Scotswood Road (pointless bit of information), its definitely a small world!

Cheers guys. It's funny, the last game of the season v Spurs was one of the best atmospheres in a good couple of years. We go into this summer more optimistic for the Championship with Rafa than we've been for the last 3 or 4 in the PL. We've sold out two stands (I think) already for next year and hope, with lessons looking to have finally been learnt by our board and Rafa in 'full control of all footballing matters' that we can finally go on and build something. Hopefully you can too (and continue to finish above the two Merseyside teams).

NUFC fan in peace. I think I speak for most of the country (apart from the blue half of Merseyside apparently) when I say that I really don’t understand this move. It’s obviously all about money as Southampton are a far better run club, it’s not even close. I must have missed the interview where this new Everton owner has promised to splash all this cash, on twitter you’d think they were going to be the next Chelsea/City but I really can’t see it. He’s not even that rich (by owner standards anyway). I have a lot of time for your club, fans, and Le Tissiers opinions on Soccer Saturday, who is the only person worth listening to on that panel for unbiased views. I hope your board continues to do what it seemingly does best, replace and move on without a glitch! Oh, and ignore the Evertonians, up there with the worst arrogant fans in the country.
