Redslo - this.
-
Klopp very ungracious.
Not the first time either
-
Just seen the highlights.
Gazza played brilliantly. How did Long miss at the end!?
Keeper saved it with his foot.
-
Frustrating game. Big positive is Gazza finally showing what others have clearly seen, top stuff. Like most games the margins were very tight, and it does come down to taking chances which we seem to struggle with. I'm more concerned whether the RK way of playing can continue to be progressive - we seem to be losing the race with similar teams who are now fitter and play the pressing game (we all saw this with Liverpool and Leicester). I can't see us improving the base talent of the squad (with our transfer policy and dry youth batch) so we have to improve what we have. It's annoying seeing Poch doing just that at Spurs (and Klopp and Raniere). I'm not giving up on RK but feel for whatever reason we have lost our way recently and need to start finding it again before too long. Not expecting many points in dec given fixtures but am hoping to see more hunger, better attitude, and much more composure.
Well said, calm, considered and accurate.

We are not a well run club.
Sorry, but the last few weeks are all down to lack of squad depth, an inability to hold on to players (because we have to operate within our means) and we sell. We sell our players. We are not ambitious. We got lucky as RK arrived.
There is more chance we will sell our best players in January than buy quality players ourselves. Our owner needs to sell up. Only way forward to support and keep Koeman is to find a wealthy owner like Leicester have.
We are about to enter a relegation battle. Simply no depth, no ambition, no new youth of note to bail us out, no money from our owners and Boardroom.
Eddy Howe after defeating Man U just said he's strengthening his squad in Jan. We aren't saying that.
Bubbles bursting?
We "got lucky" RK arrived? Not well run? Our owner needs to sell? Did you miss the last 5 years? And we aren't saying we are going to strengthen? RK has said he will add an attacking player if he find a good enough one. No depth? We have the biggest first team squad for as long as I have been supporting. Jeez

Wrong, I'm afraid.

Cheers. Ok I failed to spot him fielding for the 18 overs the match lasted (though he took a catch!) so clearly I was still ****ed from the previous night.
-
At the time we signed him we had just had our squad comprehensively raped. We needed players who were match fit and up to speed in the prem. I clearly remember Big Ron saying that in a televised interview when asked about Shane Long. He was bought to do a job and he's doing it, I really don't get this criticism.
+1. We dont have many goalscorers and he brings something different to the others. A welcome sight off the bench for me.

Good to see Hants attendances up 20% last year. New hotel must be helping and when the golf course is finished it could increase further.
I saw that, also Hants were the only county to increase attendances in all three formats of the game. Good work.

It got rained off I think. In Ireland.
If you are talking about the one day game in May this year , in Dublin, I was there and Vince was not in the team.

I am glad this debate comes up every six months
-
1. Its Alex Crook.
2. See 1.
This.
-
An excellent addition. Just needs to add a screaming 30 yard goal in the cup and we can fully move on from the last player to go to Scousehampton.
-
I'm interested if it's going bucks saint.
Sending you a PM
-
I have one spare but it has been offered, though not yet confirmed.
-
If anyone has a ticket going please let me know!
You have a PM.

Things I would be interested in asking:
1. How work is progressing to increase commercial revenue to the point that we can at least be average for a club our size in the Premier League (especially important in FFP rules).
2. The players who aren't signing new deals - in the clubs opinion how much more are the players earning at their new club compared to what the clubs best offer to them was? And can any work be done to bridge this gap?
3. A few years ago the club (Les Reed) publicly stated that they didn't believe that loans were the best way to develop their young players. This attitude has noticeably changed in the last 18 months - why?
4. As the club continues to establish itself in the top half of the Premier League it becomes harder to provide a platform for young players to develop in the first team but the club is still based on the ethos of giving kids the a chance - what (if any) steps have the club taken to ensure this can still be the case? Or is it a matter of the quality of kids coming through aren't good enough?
3 and 4 may be related but as a fan I'd be interested to know the current line of thinking, especially as a number of current U21's are about to be sent out on loan and our first team squad has a number of players who don't play much and were recently purchased.

Briggs signs for Sussex in a 3 year deal. Released early from his contract with Hampshire.
Charlie, doubt we will sign a batsman for Championship games. The emphasis when I spoke to Rod Bransgrove was another front line bowler.
Real shame about Briggs, though dont disagree with the decision. In the short format he can be, and has been excellent and rightly got to the England side.

If I buy a kids ST next year, can I pay extra tonupgradevto an adult ticket on a match by match basis?
effectively the club will be losing out on extra revenue, only in football eh, do they make it difficult to do the right thing.
Assuming you mean for home matches, then yes. I am doing that this season, for relevant games.
-
He will be north of £30m. Has made a big impact, is young, with high potential and the PL is just about to be flooded with even more cash.
All of this. Plus throw in that goalscorers are at a premium to other players.
-
Could this team be any less creative ? We need something or else why bother even turning up . Would rather lose while trying than lose whilst doing nothing .
Bertrand and Tadic are our only creative outlet . Would be baffling to drop Tadic . Besides Tadic will draw fouls like nobodys business. Could put their players under pressure if a few yellows were drawn

This. Tadic has been in very good form and has to play.

Been awfully quiet on here today- funny isn't it. A win and this place is quiet. A defeat and suddenly a countless number of threads spouting negativity pop up.
Just don't understand this forum.
Oh well
on to the next game- Chelseaaaa!
Celebrating takes time away from the keyboard. Not that hard to understand
-
Interesting, who would you see needs to go and why?
We have Topley and Fidel Edwards signed up. Hopefully McLaren will sign soon.
Lets not forget Stevenson either, another with real potential who has only just started playing, relatively
-
Briliant last three days, and Fidel signs on too! What a turnaround this season, we were gone but still battled back for today. Fantastic!
