There’s fucking tons of them. My biggest gripe are the ITKs.
All pretending to be in the lop then regurgitated by morons. Fuck off you little melts.
It’s all well and good these accounts that discuss transfers. But when they start saying “my sources are saying” it’s incredibly cringeworthy jim white enthusiast imposter syndrome

Take Onuachu signing as an example. Hailed by those with a "following" as a "baller" or telling people to "let him cook"
I find it a bit weird and makes me want to stay off any apps when people in their mid 20s use language such as “let him cook”. I go to university and people there speak like it as well. They say “dub” and “man said” in normal sentences.
People on twitter love making compilations of Selles, Jones, Ralph with rap music in the background and some weird filter with the caption “let him cook 🥶”. No doubt they’ve already got one ready for Russell when we beat a rotherham 1-0 off ches arse in the first game.

The club have got back to me today. The tone of the email is supportive and they have invited me in to discuss this further with them:
“As you rightly point out, we want to encourage like minded fans to sit together at St Marys and can work with those supporters to facilitate.
It would be good to hear a bit further on your aims, numbers and discuss your thoughts on this.”I will post an update once I’ve spoken to them.
As you rightly point out, we want to encourage like minded fans to sit together at St Marys and can work with those supporters to facilitate.
It would be good to hear a bit further on your aims, numbers and discuss your thoughts on this.interesting, how are the numbers looking atm? I hope it will be behind the idea of what the IN was a few years ago (aimed to be) old chants none of the noddy stuff like chanting about a players c***. old skool.
Also, by moving: do you get paid the difference in price back to your bank account, or just put on your saints account? I hope the former

regarding standing: it’s not illegal to stand in a football ground. The club need to realise that. We have organised ourselves at the back so that those who currently sit there can continue to do so
i’m just saying the stewards are told to make everyone at the back sit down in those areas so the risk is if you get a strict steward you’ll spend the season sat down. Many people go to northam/ IN to be next to away fans, but another reason is the fact that the club actually accepts standing here. It’s kind of an unwritten rule (on the website it says go to these areas for atmosphere) everyone knows these are the standing areas and everywhere else they have enforced ground rules.
Make sure to put it on here if the club say you can stand, i’ll be interested to see what happens with this. The IN has become dead so would be potentially interesting.

As the founder of this ‘movement’ I can confirm that a couple of groups have already bought season tickets in this section. Won’t happen overnight but is a good starting point to try and get people standing. I’m hoping the club get back to me today confirming their support of it.
There is a separate thread on here called itchen south discussing this topic 👍
it sounds good until you realise you won’t be allowed to stand as all stewards are told to make people sit down even at the top. I used to have a season ticket in that area and was even complained about for swearing. Maybe the chants should be made PG and PC, must be very inclusive.
if the club allow it, it will undoubtedly upset the families in there. But would be interesting to see what they say and what sort of people move. One thing I can say, as 99% of them are coming over from the itchen north/ northam anyways, most of those people don’t really chant so don’t get your hopes up. we’ve tried the majority of this season and no one joins in.

We used to have some great chants in the 90s at The Dell / early 2000s at St Marys
"Score a goal Neil Shipperley"
"Born is the King Eyal" (or something like that)
"Marian Pahars, Marian woooah Marian"
"Le Tiss LeTiss"
"Beatts Beatts Beatts"
"Super Kenny Monkou"
"Chrissy Marsden Football Genius"
"Our Claus in the middle of Defence"
"Anders Svennson knocked out the Argies"
From these in recent years we've started singing songs about players shitting on a former right back, a song that rhymes with a toddlers party song or if that doesn't work just "do do do do insert players name" and repeat or "They Farking hate Pompey insert players name"
there’s a direct link to the people on twitter and starting these chants. they should build that wall in the IN to stop the “football banter” it’s really not funny.
Luckily championship calls for a rethink:
Knees up Mother Brown
In Southamptons fair city…
Knock Knock..
Give me an S… etc
Funny thing is whenever we sung these last season the same people start singing over it with songs like Follow Follow over the top of it / or “I see the itchen north arising” at 200mph.

Summer Transfer Window 2023
in The Saints

For a season, and very realistic average wage, potentially. It’s 50/50 for me but also stinks of a theo walcott esque return.
Thus, if we learn our lesson. One season, promotion (out with a bang). Don’t renew the contract.
