Depends where in Surrey, where Bertrand lives is probably 1.45-2 hours in normal traffic.
Hardly a massive commute that many others don’t do though. In the car at 7.30 isn’t that terrible.

That's a £1.9m mistake.
15th place prize money: £11.5m
16th place prize money: £9.6m

Things not working out too well these days.
Busted for drug smuggling in Columbia. Facing extradition to the US for a lengthy spot of stir.
-
Mirror reporting Saints bidding £8m for Adams.
Gallagher would know him well from time at Birmingham together.
Little and large job?

Cook - we can achieve Pompey immortality
-
Now that is funny. There'll be a meltdown about this.

At least cook put Chaplin on at half time. Why cook cannot see what the majority of pompey fans can and that is Chaplin should be on the team sheet first with 10 others, after all he is the best striker outside the premiership.

Their next game is next Saturday at 3rd place Carlisle, massive game for Carlisle. Looks like we've both got cup finals to look forward to that weekend.
Fixed it for you.

Booo!

Oh dear oh dear. McInnes has gone remarkably quiet these days.
37 players used this season by Cook.

Papers on Merseyside suggesting that negotiations are ongoing between Saints and Liverpool for Sakho with a loan / option to buy deal looking increasingly likely.
Hmmm.... Sakho seems to have an attitude issue. Must be better options out there.
-
Agree with saint Steve. Need to give players a chance especially if been successful on loan but time is now up for Isgrove.

Paul Cook last week, on the chances of Pompey making new signings in the transfer window: "If we had to go with the same squad, I do feel we could get to where we want to be."
Cook this week after a miserable display against Exeter: "I would buy 11 new players after that, if I could".
Sums up how dysfunctional the club is.

"The angst shown around the ground as the Geordie lad loitered on the ball in one first-half incident was jarring.
It was an instinctive, perhaps even perfectly natural, airing of frustration to the glimpse of an opening disappearing.
As one shrewd observer noted, however, it’s the sort of conditions which create a self-fulfilling environment for the striker."
It gets better.....
"It’s the ever-decreasing circles which eventually sees [sic] a player swallowed up in a vortex of sapped morale. Reports of booing as the player took to the pitch in the second half are indefensible, however. [The reports are indefensible?] It’s evident Smith is now bereft of the confidence he gained off the back of three goals in three [matches] going into December. All the signifiers there to show it. [sic.]"
100% pure crapola.
Quite clearly the utter drivel of the apprentice Jordan Cross. Don't know how he and Comical Allen manage it, but they really are an insufferable pair with the way they each mangle the language in the name of prose.

New striker required who can bag goals.

I hope this Billy big boots has blown all his money.
Former Premier League midfielder Jamie O'Hara, who is currently without a club after being released by Gillingham, has entered the 2017 version of Celebrity Big Brother. (Sun)

What **** xmas and new year. Not helped by the fixture calendar being moved about for TV to our detriment.
-
So now halfway through and 7 points away from an auto promotion place. Heading for the same number of points as last season too. Good to see all those new signings are working out.
-
Allen/Cross:
* unplayable pitch
* magnificent comeback
* unbreakable spirit
* Pompey guns
* promotion warning to top three
-
I'd say Cook was 10 minutes from the sack at one point there so maybe it's not all bad if he continues to lead them into 2017.
-
********.
-
Very sad, not a bad man but so many problems. Almost fitting he died on Christmas Day though.
-
More utter drivel from Factless Allen.
No Ings in Crooks’ team I’d the season
